  • Knee pain after driving, is it the seat?

I just got my first car yesterday and I've driven it a few times already, but every time I've driven it, my right knee hurts when I get out. I don't think it's from being a new driver because I took a driver's ed course at my school and have driven my sister's car a few times before, but I never felt any knee pain then. Also, I don't feel it until I get out of the car. It doesn't hurt when I'm driving, but I have noticed my left foot almost falling asleep or going numb while I'm driving. Could this possibly be the positioning of my seat? The car is an 06 Nissan Sentra, if that makes any difference.

  • How can I wash/disinfect my giant teddy bear?

Okay so my boyfriend gave me a giant teddy bear for Christmas last year and I use it for a pillow most of the time. But, and I know this is going to sound gross, some little bug got into the house and died in my bear's fur. I got it out and tried to clean the spot where it was, but I'm a bit of a germ freak so I'm not really comfortable with touching it much anymore, much less sleeping on it. So is there some inexpensive way I could clean it? I would just wash it in the washing machine, but I'm not sure that would be safe for the washing machine. And that might also mess my bear up. Any ideas? Or should I just throw it in the wash and hope for the best?

  • What are some easy recipes for a vegan diet?

No meat, diary, eggs, or any of that. And I'm a little new to this. So I'm just curious what I could eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that doesn't involve any special ingredients, such as fake cheese, since I don't really have that kind of stuff just lying around the house.

  • I think my ortho gave me tmj.... What do I do?

So I got braces in about 8th grade and I'm in 11th grade now. But ever since I got them, I've had headaches and earaches and jaw pain. Since I wore rubber bands, I think it's gotten worse. And now I don't have braces anymore, but my ear, head, and jaw hurt nonstop. Sometime I don't notice it as much because I've kind of gotten used to it. Other times, it's unbearable. The last time I went for a retainer check to my ortho, she asked if I'd been chewing ice or gum because I had told her about my pain before and she thinks chewing too much is the problem. But I stopped chewing ice when I started taking iron supplements and I had also stopped chewing gum because it would make my pain worse. And I told her this. But she told my mom after my appointment that I've been chewing ice and gum too much and that's the problem (liar). And she also told her she thinks I grind or clench my teeth at night. I don't. Bc the pain isn't at it's worst in the morning. That's prob actually when it feels the best. And there are never any signs of me doing either of these. My retainer isn't worn out or anything. But she wants me to wear some $400 thing to bed every night to keep me from clenching and grinding... That would be a waste of money. I looked all this up though. And I'm thinking I have tmj and my ortho caused it. I also think she probably knows this but doesn't want my mom or me to know. Is there anything I can do?

  • What should I do about a bitchy teacher?

    It's a long story...

I have this computer apps teacher who, for some reason that I can't figure out, seems to hate me. Even though I do all of my work in her class and understand the material more easily than others seem to (mostly because it's a class of freshmen and then me and a few seniors and two other juniors). But one day, before school even started, I was outside her classroom talking to my boyfriend (no PDA or anything because I'm not really into that) and the teacher just comes out and starts getting mad at me about being late (the bell hasn't even rung yet) and tells me to "get my butt in class." Not letting me even say bye to my him. Then telling him he better get to class too. All in the bitchiest tone of voice you can imagine.

Then today I was late to class by about one minute. So she blocks me from entering the class and makes me go to the office for it. This wouldn't really bother me if a girl wouldn't have come into class after I got back from the office without getting in trouble. Also, the boy who sits beside told me he goes to mcdonalds every morning (he comes into class about 30 minutes late every day) and he has never been counted tardy and the teacher had never gotten on to him for it. He doesn't do the class work either because he already decided he will just fail the class.

The reason I care so much about this: exam days mean 3 hours in each class unless you exempt that exam. No one can exempt an exam if that person has an unexcused tardy. The teacher of that class knows that and made it very clear to the class the same day she gave me that tardy. And I cannot stand being in that class with her for 3 hours. I would rather skip the exam and get a zero than be in there that long with her. And that's coming from a straight A student.

I just need advice on what to do. Because I want so badly to get revenge on her for singling me out for no reason. And almost everyone in there has been tardy to her class and hasn't gotten in trouble. Just me.
