My main concern is my new bell boots rubbing my horses pastern. Iy being a walking horse people are overly sensitive and every time they see a walker with anyscab e.t.c. on legs or pasterns they assume the horse has been sored... so I would like to take precautions before anything can go wrong.

I have a house rented to a man.In december he was short 99.00 and he hasn't paid any of the 250$ rent for january.Plus Im stuck with two months of water bills. His rent is due the 6th of each month and we have no written contract of any kind.He told me tonight that he wouldnt be able to pay me anything and that he has 30 days to live there before I can make him move out. Do I have to serve him with eviction notice? How long do I have to weight to make him move out his stuff? Since there is no contract can I have him move his stuff out now so that I can re rent the property? Can I advertise the property for rent now or do I have to wait until after he moves out? If I have to serve him and eviction notice can I serve it personally, or by certified mail or do I need the the police to serve it for me? I would appreciate any helpful advice or knowledge about this, and if you think of something else I need to know that I didn't ask here please share. Thanks in advance for direct, non-hateful remarks.

A couple of days ago I posted a question about house breaking a 9 month old mini horse asking for tips and advice, one answer was helpful. thanks. We are on day four now and things are going better but I think my timing is off so I have began writing down when I start feeding him, how long he eats and when his body processes the food and he eliminates( just started the record keeping this morning)

So here is his old schedule that didn't work. cup of grain, all the hay he wants and free water for 30 minutes, then outside on a line for 30 minutes.Repeated for lunch and supper.By keeping records I have discovered that it takes him an almost two hours to finish eating one meal! I think maybe timing might be the key to house breaking him. I would like for you to share any tips, advice or experiences you have had on this subject. Please don't chastise me because you think he is unhappy or unhealthy or you feel bad for my carpet. I have a carpet cleaner so its not a problem.If he wasn't happy he wouldn't whinny to us constantly to come back in and he loves the attention of the family. He is very healthy and with him being in the house any illness he might develop I can catch much faster.He likes being in the house and we like it too.For those of you who think this is a hoax look at my ID picture and you will see Shadow with my three kids laying on the couch.So again, if you have any experience, tips or tricks please share them!

I love talking about horses and unfortunately my boy friend doesn't, so i thought i could chat with people online if i could find a free chat site. i would prefer gaited horse sites but i would enjoy any breed site im sure. thanks in advance.

I dream of owning a bonafide california rose parade saddle set. You know.... the ones on the gleaming palominos with lots of dangling leather and tons of silver. wow talk about gorgeous. I would want a set with breast strap and breaching and a black and white blanket and matching bridle and reins. the more silver the better, but wow are they expensive! I live in rural kentucky and I cant imagine where I would actually ride my horse in this set but i bet every head would turn where ever i rode. So tell me about your dream saddle or other tack and why you would want it, or where you would use it.

We are currently attempting to house break our miniature horse. He's 8 months old and very gentle, very smart. What I have been doing is feeding him in the morning then giving him 30 minutes to eat, then putting him out on a line for 30 minutes and repeating this for lunch and supper. His meals consist of chopped grass hay mixed with alfalfa cubes, a cup of 14 percent sweet feed and all the water he can drink. when hes outside and "does his business" we praise him and bring him back in. he has'nt pooped in the house one time today so I think he has that part figured out but he still pees, though he has figured out to pee on carpet rather than linoleum since it doesnt splatter on his legs when he pees on carpet :) Does anyone have any tips, hints, advice or experiences they would like to share with me?
