Shouldn't a significant concern be over Trump manipulating USPS (Postal Service) operations to suppress voting in the upcoming elections?
*The (acting)Postmaster General is a mega Republican mega-donor and Trump ally
*All a sudden the Postal Service is having noticeable and rising delivery issues
*This president is so corrupt and incompetent
6 AnswersPolitics8 months agoEffective Saturday, October 12, 2013: Due to the federal government shutdown, the DC Lottery?
has suspended the redemption of winning DC Lottery tickets until further notice.
The reasoning, "The answer is complex. Without a federal appropriation of its fiscal year 2014 budget, the DC Lottery is temporarily unable to honor winning tickets. As a result, all prize payments are suspended until further notice; however, all DC Lottery winning tickets will be honored upon the resolution of the federal government shutdown."
Lottery operations are self-funded. Isn't this just a cunning plan or action designed to use the "federal shutdown" to their advantage?
2 AnswersGovernment8 years agoCan you play and active bass through a guitar amp?
I have a Fender Jazz Bass Deluxe Series (MIM). I use this bass for practicing only and it works fine with my Hartke HD210C HyDrive Bass Combo Amplifier and Rockman Bass Ace Headphone...
However when trying to play through 2 different guitar amps there is no sound at all. Anyone have any idea as to why there is no sound. I already know that you should not play bass through a guitar amp, but we did not have a bass amp at the time and was only going using the guitar amp as a quick and dirty instructional tool at a very low volume.
As I stated there is no problem with the bass itself, after I got back home and plugged into my equipment it works fine...

The question was removed, I assume because it violated "yahoo answers" community guidelines. Is it yahoo answer policy that they will not get involved in that area? That they remove answers and guestions based on a "complaint" without regard to the substance of the question or answer?
I believe the person was reaching out for help...
2 AnswersPsychology9 years agoUnorthodox Guitar Tuning?
I play bass infrequently with a couple of guitar players who tune their guitar with what they call "vestipool" (not sure if that is the correct spelling or for that matter the correct name). They are unable to tell me what note each string is being tuned to. I have figured out that their 1st, 5th, and 6th string is tuned to E. Only God knows what the 2nd, 3rd and 4th is tuned to. Anybody ever heard of such a tuning and if so what is it proper name and what are the strings tuned to?
These players do not know the notes on the fretboard and play by ear only, no music theory or fretboard knowledge at all...
