Im in 8th. Yesterday I brought in an article with profanity in it. I had no intention to show it to anyone and I just wanted to read it to myself. In PE the teacher took the paper away from me and read it and said he would give it to the vice principal. How much trouble would I be in? I'm a good kid with straight A's and good citizenship. This is my only slip ever.

Lately i've been thinking about my father, and i'm afraid ill turn into him. He's not the type of guy i'd want to present myself as to my children or my wife. I know all about heredity and im afraid me being related to him will cause me to be like him. Is there any way i can prevent this from being an ultimatum?

I am a teenager in the Christian denomination called Iglesia Ni Cristo, founded by Felix Y Manalo, 1914. Over the course of the years, I have slowly lost my faith, There are things I have encountered and experienced in my life that have me ask myself questions, like why would god allow for such things to happen. I am culturally-sensitive, being exposed to various characters of differentiating ethnicities, religions, beliefs, morals and values. Mankind is beautiful in my opinion, albeit not perfect, but beautiful. INC Doctrine dictates that only members of Iglesia Ni Cristo will be saved, and that the rest will burn in hell. Billions inhabit this planet, and I cannot imagine the merciful and compassionate god I grew up knowing throwing those who simply did not choose the iglesia ni cristo, into an eternal inferno. Man imperfect, but beautiful, simply thrown into a furnace for all time. I think about things like these a lot and I have begun to question and lose my faith. Having a conversation with a family member, that family member says I no longer have the heart and mind of a church member, Will I go to hell for asking questions, for reconsidering my faith? Please answer, please. The thought of going to hell for an eternity frightens me.

I've always wanted to be great in life. I believe in the ideal of the Renaissance Man, and in my definition, the jack of all trades, the master of many. I aspire to be many things, and to be known forever for everything I do. Im a hard worker and I am pretty damn good at things I want to do. Recently I had a talk with my mom in the car. She told me there was a difference between being realistic and wishful thinking, that I should be a specialist (becoming an expert in one field) instead of becoming what I want to be and what I want do in life. After that talk, I felt put down. It was like having my dreams all crumbled up and thrown in the trash. I started losing my will and motivation. Before all of this, I had a premonition of me working really hard and showing everyone up that I could do the impossible, to be among the great of the greats, now I just feel like I'm gonna work in some boring job for the rest of my life. I really need to get back my will and motivation, since I've believe in the fact that willpower can bring you to great heights in life. help please?

I'm in 8th grade physical science, and I have this really sucky teacher. All we do in her class is write useless notes and do workbook pages and she does not provide us the answers. She assigns us work that does even teach us anything and a lot of people who have her agree with me that she is horrible at teaching. When it comes to the test, she assigns us this note card to write and study, and once the test time comes, the things in the notecard did not pertain with the questions presented in the test. She thinks she is educating us but in truth she is hurting us by presenting us work that will not help us now or later. She also has a really stupid mindset, discipline-wise. The teacher always blames the whole class for what all the troublemakers do, and her methods often take up maybe 20 minutes of class time, often leaving us with more work to do in the end. She also jumps to conclusions when a bad kid blames some crap on some other kid, and it really pisses everyone off I really want to get a new teacher, but she's been teaching for 15+ years. She's mean, and is ineffective in class. I try to study at home and re-read stuff, but I have a limited schedule. Advice on how to handle this teacher for the year? I'm a straight A student but struggling in this class, with low test grades
