I lived in Utah and work for a Solar Company they had me sign a non-compete agreement. I moved out of state and now reside in Oregon. If I take a solar job like I had in Utah, would I be in violation of the non-compete agreement?

I have a 13 year old daughter who is looking into home school, what do I do to be able to make this happen? Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. I'm aware that there is new lingo, language and terminology that I'm not aware of if someone could be the systems in gentle with where to go I would appreciate it thank you.

I went by Tom or Tommy for the first 15 years of my life. Then everyone called me my nickname "Brick" through high school and on until I met my wife. I always wanted to referred to as Al, as my middle name is Alan. That was grandfather's name and I have always respected and honored his name.

When I met my wife, she called me Thomas. So I was comfortable with that. After 13 1/2 years of marriage... she left. Now I don't associate with much of anybody that I use to "hang" with and I am starting with a clean slate. I don't have family. So siblings, no children, no parents.

I guess what I am trying to say is... I am trying to convince myself that I am not suffering from dissociative identity disorder, schizophrenia or a mid-life crisis. ;)

I thought being referred to as Thomas is too much of a loaded title or a buzz word... too many memories. What are your opinions, assuming people can be civil with their responses. This is something that I have wanted for years. I don't need it and it would be the beginning of a whole new "brighter" chapter in my life.

I don't even know how to start the body of the question. I guess the question is... I had no idea that they were related. They were always cute with each other, I guess. Then this last weekend she mentioned something about her mom and how did he cope with being the brother of her mom. Honestly, I was non plus. I didn't know if I heard that correctly. I said, "I don't want to presume that I heard you incorrectly. I want to confirm what you were talking about." She mentioned this. "He's my uncle." I said, "I had no idea." So, they started to tell the story.

She's 22. He's 37. I hope that I am not the only one that finds this peculiar. I have never heard of this before. I guess anything is possible. I want to be supportive... I value my friend's and this puts a different twist on the paradyme. I have searched the internet and can only find that this isn't common, but it happens.

The story goes something like this... He stayed with his sister, when his niece was born. He lost contact with moving around and going to school. He met up with her at the beginning of the year. They made a "crazy connection." They never talked about it. They chatted and texted all the time and then it all stopped. About 5 months after this stopped, they got in contact with each other and were doing everything not to express their thoughts and/or emotions... from what I can gathered. She is living with her boy friend. He is divorced. This is an unusual yahoo question, and I am hoping that I can read some answers that will... help me better cope with the idea that an uncle and a niece are in love with each other? Is it any of my problem or my business. Am I being strange or not open minded enough?

I don't know if I should butt out and let them go on their merry way or say something. I don't know if I am being judgmental. I've heard of people falling in love and didn't know that they were related... and then found out. This is completely a different sequence of events.

I need some advise. I know that this is MY problem, not their's. I don't want to stand in the way, and I don't know if I should be associated with this. They're consenting adults. They know what they want. I don't know how to handle this... and I am turning this over to you, please.

I injured my left shoulder while I was at work. I went through the whole business with getting surgery and Physical therapy (PT) and a pain staking settlement with an impairment rating. After I was "classified" as "MMI" (Maximum Medical Improvement) then my PT was no longer available. When I saw the IME (Independent Medical Evaluation) Doctor, he mentioned that, "You're employer owns that shoulder, given that there isn't any major trauma to it be fore the end of your life." My shoulder is flipping killing me! I can't sleep. I can't perform my job duties... how/who do I talk to about getting this back on the mend? I can't afford to get this taken take care (financially), but I have to get back to where I can recover.

I no longer work for that company, as they couldn't find a job within the company that would accommodate for my shoulder injury. Which is a whole other load of poo. Do I speak with the Workers Comp Case worker, or do I get a hold of HR in the previous employment? Or do I just set up a time with my Dr. and have them just bill the WC insurance?

Any help in this matter would be very appreciated.

I was working at one job, I got word that this other place was hiring. I put my resume in. I went through the interviews. I got a call on the 8th of February that I got the job. I put my 2 weeks notice in on the 13th of Feb. The 27th was going to be my last day on the old job... I just got a call, at the end of the day today, the 26th of Feb, that they hired someone else. ummm... the kicker is, the job that I was leaving from, I just trained my replacement. I am not able to go back. Now I am unemployed. I am not looking to retaliate to the new job, but wow! What can I do in this situation, other than collect unemployment? I am just SOL? Any help in this matter would be great. Thank you

My check engine light came on. ECT sensor needs to be replaced. The thermostat in the dash reads under cold all the time. The heater blows about 55 degrees and wont' increase. Both radiator hoses get warm, so I know that it is circulating. I go and buy the ECT sensor, in hopes that I can find any info online about it. There are four (4) locations for this sensor... and not 1 has this sensor. I go and buy a chiltons and you guessed it, it's not there either. I have the parts place print out a locator image of where it is... nope, not there either. I have 2 guys from 2 different places try to locate this part to no avail. I have 5+ hours of research. 3 peoples opinions. 1 $26 book and a $9 dollar part, that doesn't have a place to go.

I am freezing when I drive this truck. I have to locate the problem. Can somebody please help me.

I am looking to be able to access his tablet on the fly. Can I see what the camera is showing? Can I access the files? I only ask, because I really don't trust him (he's earned that distrust), but I need to get to that point of being able to trust him. I am making him aware, so there won't be the need of those answers that cover that drama.

I had shoulder surgery via scope. The surgery ended up to be Sub-acromial

decompression (SAD). A week later, of course, I was in a lot of discomfort in my shoulder, neck and peck region. It also radiated down my left arm. I thought I was having a heart attack. Who's to know how to determine post shoulder surgery or a heart attack pain?

4 weeks after the surgery and 2 weeks of PT, I was still having this intense pain just left of my mid sternum that would intensify when I swallowed, hick up'd or burped. I went to Dr. He had blood work, X-ray, and EKG done. He ordered a stress test (w/o lung pressure test). They found that I was having symptoms of a heart virus. I set up an appointment see a Cardiologist to really determine what's going on... set for December 11!

My questions are: why all the sudden, after shoulder surgery, do I have a heart virus? Did something cause this during the procedure? The Pulmonologist stated, my heart was as healthy as a 25 year old's heart (I'm 37). I have never had a heart problem, and now... poof!

I'm not placing blame on the Surgeon, because he's my really good friend of the family. I don't want to ask him, as to disturb the friendship. Truly, I can't place blame... but I need to know, as this is a worker's comp case surgery. I can't go back to work with this intense pain! I need a little bit more time to cope with this, and I don't want to be stuck paying the bill for this one, or being a liability at work.

Any thoughts?

There is a guy that is selling a Dedia Men's Watch for about 1/5 the retail price. Even on Ebay, they're going for the similar price. When I look at the watch and examine it, what are the best ways to know if it's fake or real? And are Dedia watches a good watch? I never use my PS3 and I have always wanted to own a decent metal detector. This guy wants to trade... are metal detectors worth owning? I know the CAN be but should I trade it in your opinion?

As soon as the vehicle is in overdrive it feels like there is this vacuum loss, and lack of power. The first time this happened, the check engine light came on with the code P1406 (EGR). I replaced the EGR then I reset the codes. Light came back on. Replaced the DPFE... reset... light. Replaced the computer vacuum control solinoid... reset... no light.

So, a $150 for 3 parts and hoses, same problem. Maybe these parts needed to be replaced at the same time when this overdrive situation happened.

Any suggestions on what I can do to troubleshoot and/or figure out what is going on with the overdrive? I am up for anything.

I have a volt meter connected to the battery and it shows that it is fully charged, as does the charger itself. The second I hit the on/off switch to on... the volts drop to .01 (dead). When I connect another battery... same thing. So I rigged together a series of alkaline batteries and the car takes off. Then I thought to ask my friend if I could use his battery... fully charged to dead at the flick of a switch. Why is this happening? It's a brand new RC car as of yesterday...?

I had a thought a few years ago about mixing music with other people from other places around online. Now I am acting on it. We could see if we could sell them and make a few bucks. It is horrible trying to find other people locally that would like to jam out, why not online? This seems like a "who's on first..." kind of question, but here goes.

When I start the truck, the overdrive "off" light is off (not lit). If I push the button the "off" light turns "on". So, is my O/D on when the off light is off? Or is it off when the off light is on?

It would have just made sense to make a round little light light up when it was engaged. I get the impression that the O/D is disengaged until the button is pushed, but that "off" light is making me second guess this theory.

I, like many people, am very aware of the feeling and sound of the cars I drive. I was driving the other day and it was like the engines RPM's leveled off. I was going 65mph, 1800rpm... no problems. Then the RPM's dropped to about 1200 and then I let my foot off the throttle. It was a curious feeling. I put my foot back on and then a few seconds later the same thing happened. I thought, "if it does it this time, I am going to give it a little gas.". Nothing changed. I had to take my foot off the pedal and then put it back on. I thought, "I'm going to set the cruise control..." The cruise won't gear down and compensate, but I feel it level off.

I got to my destination and before I turned the engine off, I thought I would look under the hood. I heard this slight "clicking/ticking" sound when I got out of the truck and it was coming from under the truck. Of course your heart drops when you see the condensation from the AC,.dripping... but that was it. There are no leaks.

I put the truck in gear, sound stops. Put it in neutral or park... sound doesn't initially start up, but it get's apparent after about 3 seconds. I ask a friend who's a mechanic, what he thought. His thoughts were on the Throttle Positioning Sensor. I replaced it... no change. I asked him again, and he was at a loss.

I have taken an interest in taking things apart and seeing what makes them "tick". I got my hands on an old broken VCR and I have taken it apart, just to see what's inside that I could have fun with. I found that the head of a VCR is really balances and spins for quite a long time, with very little effort.

I know that if one takes an electromagnetic motor and hooks up the 2 wires to a multimeter that it works as a small generator, of sorts. I hooked up a multimeter and see where if I spin the head, it generates voltage. It won't power my home, but there is some current.

If I take those points of contact and add voltage... I cannot make it spin. I keep trying to find out more about this little toy. I saw on YT that someone connects a lead and it spins like Hell! People in the comments ask and ask how they got power to it. One guy replies, "I know I tried both delta and wye style." Whoosh! right over head. I googled what he was saying and I absolutely have no idea where to even start with something like that.

Is there a place where I can hook a positive (+) and a negative (-) and vuala?

Or better yet... does someone have a fun little project with one of these VCR head drums? I thought that if I could hook it up to a model airplane prop that I could power a computer out in the woods or a phone or even an LED light... something.

I have a 2000 Ford Expedition. This is the first Ford I have bought, so I very unfamiliar with the keypads that are located under the drivers door handle. I am curious of what features this keypads offer. Are they just for the locking and unlocking the doors?

I found the 5 digit factory code (under the driver's side dash) then I programmed a new personalized code, but I found the factory to be way easier. I know that if I hit 3/4 after entering the 5 digit code that all the locks unlock. If I push 7/8 & 9/0 (at the same time) it locks the doors.

I am trying to see if this will be a greater benefit than just doing those functions? Any help or info with this would be awesome!

I have searched everywhere online for programming the FOB or keyless entry. (not the key pad on the driver's door.) "Turn the key from off to on (8x's) leaving it in the on position. With Door closed. With Door open, hitting lock or unlock, then doing only 7x's..." I've tried that in every sequence possible. I have done everything but short out the 2 gray wires next to the RKE module, behind the dash, under the stereo... that seemed to me as last point of desperation... (that's next. lol) Someone online said that they had success with that.

After not hearing the door locks lock and then unlock or go into a "cycle"...I have even considered the idea that I don't have keyless entry on this, but 2 dealer (in parts department) confirmed that it does, in fact.

I talked to the dealers and they want $50 to program it. I only spent $23 on the FOB's, that I even had a chance to try out.

There has to be 1 thing that I haven't tried that someone has had success with... please. If there isn't, I am going to have to live with not looking cool, unlocking my doors from 50 ft away.
