Finding kittens without the mother?
A cat had kittens at my fathers place of work. They took her to be spayed today. They could not find the kittens, assuming they were still hidden behind the shelving. The kittens are 6 weeks old and eating solid food, they were there yesterday, and are semi feral, the mom is totally tame.
It turns out the kittens are not there and the mother is being taken back to where my dad works. Is there any chance that the mother can find her kittens after being spayed? Would she even try? She has only been away from where they were last seen for around 8 hours, maybe 9 by the time she arrives.
The kittens all have homes to go to.
