I know when you write a subject-by-subject essay you need transitions in the second half of the paragraph, to show the reader that you're kind of.. changing gears I guess. Is there a rule of thumb about HOW MANY transitions are needed? Just one, or a few? Or can you have too many? I'd hate to put too few, but would be even more miserable if I put a lot of unnecessary words in my essay. Turning final draft in tonight, so I hope all of you English Major's out there can throw me a bone. ;)

On Saturday night I was vomiting so often (got up to about 14 times in about 4-5 hrs) I took myself to ER.. I got sick about 15 times total before being seen and diarrhea about 5 or 6.. all watery. My temp was a lil on the low side of 'normal' and so was my BP.. was very dehydrated and they gave me three bags of fluids before sending me on my way.. diagnosed me as the regular gastrointestinitis or however ya spell the full name for the stomach flu.. could it be the swine flu though? I'm worried because I'm always cold so idk if the chills I have are from the flu or just from me always being cold. I'm still very nauseated, took my anti nausea meds before bed and about 2.4 - 4 hrs later I'm up and sick at my stomach again (unfortunately I take 60 mg cymbalta, it has made me nauseous in the past late at night before..) My nose is somewhat stuffy at times and I noticed on my way home from the hospital Sunday morning when trying to sing in the car my throat was a bit sore.. it didn't seem that way before then. I have recently been hearing about the swine flu and all the symptoms so am I just overworrying or should I call my doctor? My boyfriend, 1.5 year old son and I all seem to have whatever it is.. my boyfriend is just now starting to get it while my son and I have had it the longest.. I worry about my son dehydrating and not getting enough to eat.. What do I do without panicking and making too much out of something that could just be a simple stomach virus?? :( Thanks in advance for the advice.. sorry for another 'stomach/swine flu' post.. but it seems kind of important since it involves my son (fairly young..) I've recently started taking Cymbalta (30 mg 1x Daily) for anxiety and depression, I had pressure behind my right eye and lots of nausea, tingling first day I took this medicine, after that I hadn't really experienced pressure too much behind my eye or the tingling anymore but still have lots of nausea if I do not take meds with large meal, and when food empties out of my stomach the nausea always returns. Also, when I wake up from a nap or from sleeping all night I am beginning to see things.. I rolled over on the couch one day after a nap and looked at a commercial with someones face and they looked like they had large speckles appearing all over their face.. also this morning I woke up and everything seemed to have a trail behind it when I looked around.. I waved my hand in front of my face and that too had a trail following it.. almost as if it were going in slow motion, so strange.. it disappears once I wake up fully and get my wits about me. Is it just because I'm waking up or is it a strange side effect of Cymbalta? I read there's a rare side effect called Seratonin Syndrome *sp* and hallucination was a side effect but I have no idea if that is what this is or if I'm just looking too much into it..? I've seen spots in the corner of my eye before but nothing quite like this.. I did have ONE other episode of seeing things but it was when I was around 7 or 8 months preggo and was staying overnight in a hospital room with my then boyfriend. (he had heart troubles) and I went to use the bathroom.. I looked up at the tile wall while taking care of business and all of the vertical and horizontal grout lines between the tiles glowed silvery and had almost like little silver... bullets is the best way to describe it, the ywere small but more prominent than the silver lines themselves.. it almsot looked like something out of the matrix, the bullets were shooting all one direction, not in synch or anything.. soo weird.. I looked down and closed my eyes for a moment and looked up, it was still there.. I quickly finished and went to lay down.. I never saw anything like this again. I spoke to my mom about it long after it happened and she said once she saw something like that but she's quite sane.. she may have anxiety like I do, but not nearly as bad and Idk if that has anything to do with what I am experiencing now but it is the only time I had ever really 'hallucinated' before.. I was too embarrased and scared to tell my doctor, and I still haven't told anyone else to this day other than my ex boyfriend and my mom... please, someone have any input on this?? :// Appreciate any insight on my problem.. thank you for taking the time to read this, I know it's pretty long.

I am on day 4 of taking the 30 mg 1x daily, after a week I will be upped to 60 mg 1x daily.

Recently saw my PCP and he suggested I try Cymbalta for depression and anxiety.. I decided to give it a try. Took it tonight a while after I had supper.. probably should have known better and just taken it right after supper but wasn't really thinking too much of it.. anyway I felt okay for a little while and went to lay down because I had gotten tired. I woke up about an hour ago feeling almost drunk.. I had my eyes shut but it was almost as if everything were spinning or twisting and turning, so I had to get up and open my eyes.. thats when I noticed all the nausea. Still feeling nauseous and a little woozy a little over an hour later.. is this side effect usually long lasting or just temporary until one gets used to the medication? I was on Celexa ( I think it was ) when I was a teenager for depression, can't remember why I quit taking it.. might not have needed it any longer but I don't remember feeling that way on that medicine, but unfortunately my memory is shot and I don't remember much of anything anyway.. so sad.. I'm only 23 and having memory issues. :( Anyway.. would it be advisable to eat something now, or should I just sip on water? I have no sprite or tums or anything like that and I'm flat out broke.. I've been buying milk with change is how broke I am, so if I had a few bucks I'd just run and get a bottle of tums but unfortunately that won't be happening until my boyfriend gets paid. Would milk turn my stomach worse? Should I try eating a bite or what? I don't want to call my doctor, even though he is on call.. it's just nausea and a little woozy and I don't think it's life threatening but it is rather bothersome.. what do you think? It's 4:15 AM And I'd hate to wake him up just to hear that it's a fairly normal reaction or something.. Anyway, any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.. thanks for taking the time to read this. Have you or anyone else you know experienced problems or symptoms of PPCM due to Marijuana use? If so how did it affect you? Is it safe to smoke marijuana for anxiety when you've been diagnosed with PPCM? Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated and considered.. thank you so much for your time! Best wishes everyone!

I saw recently that they added a yahoo messenger type feature in yahoo mail and that you're able to directly chat with your friends that are in your contacts, but I cannot find this feature at all! I even tried changing my email from the classic setup to the newer yahoo mail design and I still do not see it.. I cannot figure out why it is not there, my friends tell me that it is on theirs... what in the heck did I do wrong here?? Help please! :) I've tried logging out of yahoo messenger and relogging into my yahoo mail but it doesn't show up then either.. so I'm just not sure at all what I am doing wrong?

My boyfriend this year claimed myself and my son as dependant, also he tried for the EIC.. but apparently because he's not blood relation and we are not married (he is not my sons father) I am being told that my boyfriend cannot recieve the EIC.. I only worked for about 2 weeks last year and I am not sure that I made enough to even be able to FILE my taxes.. but if I am able to file them, would I be able to get EIC thru my son on MY taxes, if I do not claim him as dependent? My boyfriend has taken care of us the whole year and it breaks my heart to think we won't be able to get the EIC because we're hurting right now and it would definately be put to good use.. Please.. any suggestions or advice is welcome and appreciated..

I moved to Arizona in late April of 2008 and my boyfriend wanted to claim myself and my son on his taxes for 08-09. When we recieved our taxes the government only gave us about half and left out the EIC because last year my boyfriend didn't claim as head of household or have any dependents, and now all of a sudden he has two dependents.. which I understand, the government wants to make sure nobody is trying to claim someone falsely or whatever.. but now the government is telling us we need to send them proof that my son has lived here for the whole year but I'm not sure as to what exactly I need? They sent a letter but it doesn't give enough details and my sons pediatrician gave me a few copies of some paperwork but I don't think it's going to be accepted because for one, it doesn't have any dates of him being seen or receiving any shots until around September of 08, so if that was his 'first' visit then technically that paper only says that he has lived here around 6/7 months.. the pediatrician also told me that when they tried to give a letter to other patients' parents, with their letterhead & information on it that for some reason the government rejected the letter so I guess that it isn't accepted, even though on the paper it states that it should be??... I'm just so confused and we need our taxes back but I just feel like I'm jumping through hoops for nothing.. does anyone know exactly what would work or be accepted as proof for my boyfriends EIC? My current boyfriend is not my sons father, but he's been taking care of both of us for the past year.. I'm just at ends right now and if anyone has any suggestions I'm more than willing to listen.. I'm going to try calling the IRS and see if they can't give me more detailed information but I have a feeling that I'm not going to get too far.. thank you in advance for any help or suggestions.

Also, would a letter from the state be accepted? I and my son both receive medical benefits from the state and I thought if the copies of medical papers wouldn't work, then surely something from the STATE would be accepted, yes? Thanks again for any help folks.. sorry this thing is so long.

I had issues with depression when I was younger and now I am experiencing problems with it as well.. is there anyway that astrology can tell me what's wrong with me, or why I am, the way I am? I hope this question makes sense.. I experience a lot of anxiety and lately have not been feeling up to par.. as if something is really wrong, I wasn't sure if Astrology can give insight as to what I should be doing.. where I should be headed in life.. or like I said before, why I am the way I am.. Maybe if I understand myself more I can go from there and begin to make myself happy again? Thank you for any replies.. it is most appreciated.

Since I've had my son in October I've tried to be very careful and use protection, of course the last time that I did anything we didn't use a condom.. I made him pull out but of course I'm kind of still worried.. I can't remember exactly when my last period began/ended as I haven't started to chart... YET.! However, it seems like it was around the 16th-20/21st. We had intercourse about 3/4 days after my cycle and I've been kinda freaking myself out ever since.

I'm sure stressing about it will only delay it, I went to planned parenthood but I think it was probably too soon to test and get an accurate reading.. she told me to come back some time at the end of the month.. which I can't do since I'm moving.

Is it possible to get pregnant so soon after a cycle is finished?

I had no real symptoms of pregnancy like the morning sickness thing so.. I can't really rely on that in giving me a big fat yes, or no.. >.<
