I'm a sixteen year old girl in high school and this is my first job. I've been working at a restaurant since October 29th. I know that's not very long, but I'm honestly miserable with it and so many things have gone wrong. Firstly, I was hired as a hostess, but when I arrived on my first day, I was trained to work as a busser, and that's what I've been doing for the past nearly two months. I thought I'd be hosting though, and bussing is a lot more work. I figured they needed me to buss so that's why I was working that job, but two weeks later another girl in my grade from my school was hired as a hostess, so obviously that position was available. Although I made it very clear that I can work weeknights, I only get scheduled on weekends, and this conflicts with my social plans. I'd rather at least have one night on the weekend to hangout with friends. I really don't see work as a priority because I don't need a job; it was just something my parents suggested. Also, we get our paychecks every two weeks, but I got my first one just last week. I asked every week leading up to it about when I would get my paycheck and why I hadn't already, and I learned that I hadn't been paid because there was a tax form I hadn't filled out. No one had told me about the tax form or that I needed to fill one out, so I couldn't get paid because of that. After I filled out the form, I had to wait even longer to get paid, and when I finally did my check was only for 22 hours, even though I'd worked 46. So, after a month and a half of bussing instead of hosting, I've only gotten paid for half of my work. I'm just sick of the poor communication skills at the job and I'm tired of the fact that none of my concerns are addressed. Is it too soon to quit? Will quitting affect my chances of getting another job in the future? Like I said, I don't really need a job. I can make enough money from babysitting and such. I really want to quit, my main concern is just whether or not it's too early. Thanks!

Okay so I know this is gonna sound really strange and you'll probably think I'm really stupid for asking...I'm probably just being paranoid but I'm not sure, so here goes. So like in school mostly but sometimes at home, whenever teachers or other people say something, I'll write down a random word that they said. Like if my teacher said "The significance of Robert Frost's poetry was..." I'd write down significance. Or if my friend said to me during class "Hey are you going to the basketball game?" I'd write down basketball. I don't do this consciously, I just do it without realizing it. I wouldn't say it's an instinct, but I'm not sure what it is. Usually I'll write whatever word in a notebook or whatever I have out, but if my desk is empty I write in on the desk. If I'm just sitting on a chair or something, I'll trace the words on my leg or arm with my pencil or just my finger. I know this sounds REALLY weird and that's cuz it is really weird, ahaha, but I'm wondering if this is a sign of something? The weirdest part is whenver I write down the word(s), I always write them in cursive, which I never do because I always write in print. So like I'll be taking notes and then all of the sudden I'll realize I have these random cursive words on my paper. Today I tried to stop myself every time I got the urge to do it, so every time I started writing, I'd put my pencil down. But then I'd start tracing the words with my finger, so it was really hard not to do it. My hands were almost shaking whenver I resisted it and I got really fidgety. I probably sound like a total idot, I know, but if anyone knows anything about what this could mean or how to stop it I'd appreciate it so much! Okay so my friend was going to King's Island (an amusement park, for those of you who don't know) with another girl, but the girl canceled and I had to say yes because my friend's mom had already paid and she couldn't find ANYBODY else to go. So the trip is on Wednesday and of course I'm excited but I've never been before or to any other amusement park like it, so to get to the point I'm not sure how I'll do about all the roller coasters. Earlier this summer I went to Holiday World and went on two roller coasters there, but they're wooden so they went fast and jerked, but nothing upside down or crazy like King's Island. I don't know if I'm scared of roller coasters because I've never been on any like the ones at King's Island, but how do I know? And I can't just sit out while my friend does the rides because that's boring, a waste of money, and not fair to her. Should I be afriad? I'll probably be able to say something like I can't go on any upside down coasters, or all they all upside down? I really don't know, and don't want to ruin the trip by wimping out on everything. What should I do? Thanks!

Ok well earlier I asked which new phone to get, and I've chosen the Motorola Atrix based on your answers and personal research. But now I'm questioning whether I should get a new phone at all. I currently have the Samsung Focus and love it, I'm just giving it to my sister and wouldn't mind a better phone anyway. I like the Windows OS and have never had an Android, but I'd be fine with either. I text, call, facebook, and use aps daily. Based on what you know about the Focus and Atrix, should I keep my phone or get the new one? Also whatever phone I get has to last me another year and a half, so consider that as well. My bathroom is currently light blue with a dark blue laminate-ish floor. Soon, my sister and I are painting it pink (not too light, but not quite hot pink). I don't think it'll match too well, so I've been looking everywhere for bathroom stuff with pink and navy stripes, but cannot find anything! Does anyone know where I can find a shower curtain, toothbrush holder, rugs, soap dispenser, etc. with pink and navy and maybe white stirpes/polka dots/any simple pattern really. Thanks!

I'm getting a new phone soon, and am not sure which one to get. I'm deciding between the Motorola Atrix, the Samsung Infuse, and the HTC Inspire, all new 4G phones from AT&T. I can get them all for the same price, so that's not an issue, and I'm fine with them being all touch screen, but can't decide between features like screen size, camera resolution, apps, and such. I'm a sophomore in high school, text, call, and use social networking daily, and also like many games and apps. My current phone has a good camera so I use that for all of my pictures. If anyone has opinions about each phone or thoughts on which would be best, that would be great! Thanks so much!

Ok well on tuesday my school is having a conference for our class and i went to it last year and it's totally stupid and pointless and summer is almost over so i don't wanna waste it but my mom is still making me go. So is there any ways you know of that i can get out of it? I'm honestly accepting any ideas at this point but don't tell me to suck it up and go i've already heard enough of that from my mom. I've had the grey classic short UGG boots for a year now. They're a little too big (size 9, my newer boots are size 8 and fit better) but I didn't return them because of the shipping hassle. They're a bit worn down so that when I walk, the sides fold over. Also, the heel part, which is sturdier and a different material than the rest of the boot, folds inwards and the logo folds in half. I was wondering if there were any ways to fix/prevent this? Thanks!

A male is singing. It has a piano opening. I don't know the exact lyrics for the beginning, but it's kind of the story of a man and a woman in love and their life together. Part of it talks about their son who's just like his mother, and their daughter who's just like her father. I know a line from that part is "she's got eyes just like her fathers, blue when the sky is gray" and the rest seems about the woman getting sick or dying, I can't really tell. I just loved the song when I heard it, and tried searching the lyrics I remember but found nothing. Thanks if you can help!

I have tons of stuff that I'd want to hang on my wall, but my bulletin board is full. Is there any way I could turn my whole wall into a bulletin board for a good price? I'm a freshman so I obviously don't have much money, but is there any sort of bulletin material wallpaper or anything? I've tried searching for it but don't think I know quite what I'm looking for. I really want to learn to play the guitar, but I don't want to take lessons; I'd rather learn online/on my own. I've taken a few lessons before, but they were very simple and I've forgotten what I learned, so I guess you could say I have little/no experience. What sites/videos/online teachers do you recommend?
