I'm 22 and a conservative Christian. I'm married to the guy of my dreams and we enjoy watching TONS of movies and TV shows together! We love music, and disc golf, and Rock Band (^_^) and basically just having fun together. I love making sushi (though I still haven't perfected it...) and taking walks when its not subzero outside.

  • Any first tattoo advice?

Hey everyone! I know everyone asks this question so I hate to be so cliche here BUT I'd like some tattoo advice. I am of age to get a tattoo, I know they're permanent, "tramp stamps" are the ugliest thing ever and make your butt look like its hairy at first glance, I know they hurt like a B****

Now that we've gotten that out of the way. :P

I'm having trouble deciding the location of my first tattoo. Guys have it so easy. My husband is in the process of getting this extremely detailed leg sleeve of a T-Rex and Triceratops fighting with an earthquake and lava and meteors and its pretty much the coolest thing ever...but something like that would never work on me or any woman who wants to look feminine while still having a tattoo. :/

I would like to have a tattoo that wouldn't be too difficult to hide AND show off. (AKA I'm not going to be flashing people my butt just so they can see my tat if you catch my drift) I don't think leg tattoo's look very good and I plan on having kids so anyplace that would stretch for that are out of the question. I have it narrowed down to a few places:

-back of shoulder (on shoulder blade)

-front of shoulder (just below collar bone)

    -upper arm

    -wrist

I want to get The Prince from the Katamari Damacy video games with some rainbowy stuff behind it so it would have a lot of color and fit my personality and interests. In google searching I didn't find many tattoos of this and being unique with something like a tattoo is pretty important to me. I am going to go to the best tattoo parlor in my city so I know they will do good (clean) work and it will look amazing, I just need to decide where it should be done. I plan on getting more but if I decide it hurts too much I will want this tattoo to look good by itself too. >_<

Anyway, helpful advice would be great. Best advice will get best answer.

    Thanks in advance!

  • What the flippin' heck is wrong with my '87 Nissan Stanza?

I LOVE my stanza! Sadly, it is not starting and I don't know why. :( All the mechanics I know only work on American made cars so they don't want to touch it because its all "metric" and stuff. Jerks.

    Anyhoos, here's what's going on:

*Starting this winter, we've been having to step on the gas as we start it...otherwise it will start and then die. This might have something to do with what's wrong maybe?

*If the engine is cold, if we put it in reverse to back up and then put it in drive, it will die. This has also been going on since winter.

*Currently it will not start. It has not started for 2 days. It makes noise so I don't think its the battery, the engine just won't turn over. The place I bought it from said they replaced the starter.

Anyone know what could be wrong? We take very good care of it. The oil has been changed recently, there's gas in it, whenever we go places for oil changes etc they always comment on how great and clean the engine looks...I don't want to just give up on it. I love my car. :(

The person who gives me the best advise gets best answer!

  • Would I like Battlestar Galactica?

Most of my friends really like Battlestar Galactica and think its pretty much the best thing ever. Do you think I would like it?

I like Stargate SG-1, but didn't get past the 5th season because I got bored. :P

I LOVE Firefly (and many curses to Fox for cancelling it and not giving it a chance!!!)

I don't like Star Wars or Star Trek (though I will see the Star Trek movie because it does look pretty sweet. And please don't hate me for not enjoying Star Wars. I understand why its something that a lot of people like but its just not for me k?)

I love Smallville (if it even counts in this genre...oh well!)

Anyway, fans of the show, please give me your opinions. ^_^

  • What do you think about the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ?

We're discussing this right now with my college group and I'm interested to see what you think about this too!

What do I think? I think it will be amazing and will happen before the rapture.

Don't know what I'm talking about? Just ask. :)

  • Do you know of any good music from the UK?

I'm not talking Beatles or anything (and I'm not denying their awesomeness, they're just not what I'm looking for...)

I'm looking for mostly modern British music. Its hard to find because mostly you search for bands via genre and not where they come from. :P

Here's some examples of what I've found and like:

    Bat for Lashes

    The Sounds

    The Ting Tings

Squeeze (just the song Cool for Cats really...)

    Bloc Party

    The Hives

    The Stokes

    Franz Ferdinand

Please help me find other great stuff. :)

    Thank you!

  • Know of any awesome chick music?

Here is what I like and want some more of:

    Deerhoof

    Bjork

    Flyleaf

    Within Temptation

    Dirty Little Rabbits

    Children 18:3

    Sonic Youth

    The Yeah Yeah Yeah's

    Eisley

Please don't suggest Evanescence, Paramore, Amy Winehouse, Katy Perry etc. I'm looking for something that I've never heard of before and would not have possibly heard of without you telling me.

    Thank you for your help!

  • Am I Pregnant? Cliche questions looking for an unchiche answer.?

OK, I've been trying to do research online and have not found any definite answer. Here's the scoop:

At the very end of August I was at an outdoor concert and I fainted twice within a very short amount of time. The EM T's said I was dehydrated but did no official diagnosis. Ever since then I have not felt the same. Shortly before this I had an extremely short period out of cycle (less than one day) and had a similar very very short period in the middle of September. I am married and on birth control and I haven't missed any pills but I've heard of people getting pregnant while on the pill. I took 3 pregnancy tests all at different times of the day and they were all negative so I stopped worrying about it.

This past week, I have been getting plenty of sleep but I am feeling very fatigued. I have also noticed that the area around my pelvic bones is getting harder and sticking out slightly more. I have been focusing more on crunches in my workout routine so this could explain the hardness but it all just makes me very nervous. I am also experiencing very slight cramping in my mid stomach for more than a two weeks now.

It could be that deep down, I just really want to be a mom someday so my mind could be taking this a little too seriously. I'm going to take another pregnancy test today but I'm just not quite sure at what point to see a doctor. :(

Please help me if you can. I would greatly appreciate it.
