  • Sixth form college friendship help?

I'm 16 and from the UK and we go to college here at 16. I used to go to a secondary school which had a sixth form so the secondary school starts from year 7 (age 12) and ends at year 11 (age 16) and after that you either go to sixth form or college. For uni you have to wait until you're 18. When I was new to the school (we joined halfway bc we moved houses) me and my sister were really lonely, luckily a few generous people invited us into their group and they were so sweet (there were only 4 of us) and the group grew until year 11 when there were 6 of us (including my sister bc she was in the same year as me) and that was good considering im the really shy girl and I hardly talk but these friends were like family and I could be confident around them. we'd all been great friends for at least 3-4 years and 3 had been for 5 years. The sixth form have really high expectations and on the GCSE results day we were all devestated, crying to find out that I was the only one who actually made it. So we all had to split up to go find new sixth forms/colleges and I stayed because I'd made it in. It was finally my first day and my school started before any of theirs. I was nervous, excited and worried at the same time. Walking to school was horrible bc I'd usually talk to my sister, through out the day I was lonely and I don't like anyone in my school all the loud party type girls got in. Everyone's got their groups and I need help, I don't know what to do, everyone has friends but me.

  • Film Studies or Philosophy and Ethics A level?

Hi I'm in year 11 and I'll be taking my A levels soon. So I just got told that two of my A levels clash with each other, Film studies and Philosophy and ethics. I was planning on taking 4 A levels

    - Art Graphics

    - Business Studies

    - Philosophy and Ethics

    - Film studies

However, I was told to choose either film or philosophy and ethics. It's a really hard decision because I'm a really creative person and I really love film but I also love debating which philosophy and ethics offers. I am currently taking both and working at an A* in both. I find philosophy and ethics easier but I really enjoy Film too even though it can be slightly more difficult at times. At uni I wanted to continue with both and Art Graphics. I want to either go into Graphic design or Law so both subjects would benefit me. So any arguments for why I should choose one over the other?

Thank you so much for any help. Much appreciated x

  • What does Halloween celebrate?

I'm curious because I just consider it a night to have fun, watch a horror movie, have a party etc. Plus It's Halloween tomorrow so I thought this would be the perfect time to ask.

  • Is it okay to use an ouija board?

Me and a few of my friends are planning on buying one but they are really hard to get hold off in the UK. I personally don't have anything against them considering I am not religious, and class myself as an agnostic-athiest. However, my parents are strict Muslims and told me not to mess with the occult. I really want to find out the truth if they work because I have always been interested in this kind of stuff. Have any of you had any experiences you could share? My dad says he doesn't think it will work, he just said Islam forbids it (he doesn't know I'm an agnostic-athiest)
