  • Motherboard Problem HELP!!?

Hi, i just upgraded a G41 motherboard to a new MSI motherboard (i forgot which one) and i have just upgraded my processor to Intel Core i5. Once i got everything into place (installed) i tried to turn it on. When i turn it on (i left it the side of the case open) and the power supply led's turn on for like 1 second, also the cpu fan moves like a centimeter. Please help me, i know it is not a psu failure cuz i used it before. Also it might be a cpu failure because the socket type on the processor is LGA 1155, and it is the same on the motherboard so it might be the cpu.

Please get back to me as fast as you can!

  • Computer won't start?

Today i was using my computer and my Intel Core i5, and an MSI motherboard came from newegg. So i installed both of them in my computer and i know that my computer works because i was using it earlier before i got the parts. So when i got everything plugged in and left the side of the computer case open and i pressed the power button, nothing happened except the led's on my power supply 550w blinked on then off right away, and thats all that happens.

  • Computer Virus Help!!!?

    hi,

my other computer has i virus. when i turned it on there was SmartFortress 2012 on there (i have no idea how it got on there). So it disabled my anit-virus (microsoft sercurity essentials) so the virus was not detected. Well im a bit of a computer nerd myself (i have successfully built my own computer) and i thought that i should just start the computer in safe mode. So i started it in regular safe mode (no "safe mode with command prompt" or "safe mode with networking"). Then i right clicked on the SmartFortress icon on my desktop to see where the file location was. The file location was in C:\Program Data\(then a folder with a bunch of numbers). So on my natural instinct i just delete the folder holding the file. Then i restarted my computer normally and i goes to "Starting Windows" screen then the screen goes black (but it is still on). So i restarted and went to startup repair and that didn't work. So i tried start in "safe mode with networking" but that did not start either. So i somehow go to the system restore option and that would not work either it would say it was restoring but at the end it says system restore has failed. Please help me!

  • call of duty mw3 infection question?

i was playing mw3 on pc and i got into an infected lobby. So i played cuz i thought it was a mod. I left the game and then i had the infections. So i joined a regular game and started playing but i got 2 annoying infections still there which are insanely high sensitivity (i cant get rid of it i even tried turning down the sensitivity all the way). And the map is very bigger than usual it takes up almost 1/4 of the screen. I just want to know how to take these away so i can play the game normal and i have tried restarting the computer like 5 times.
