The 3 year old boy next to me screams in a very distressed manner from 7am - 12am with little break. Besides the impact this has on my peace, I am worried about the kid. To scream all day long isn't natural, is it? Should I report this to the NSPCC? Social Services?

I saw a really weird short animation around 1995/1996 in which a man falls in love with an armless statue that comes to life. He takes it home but it demands to be fed all the time. At some point, the man tries to run away but the statute catches him and bites off his legs.

Does it ring any bells with anyone?

I'm a musician and I've made an album that's exactly 1 hour long and features 60 tracks - all exactly a minute long, of course.

I broke my shoulder 3 years and it often still gives me problems (I can't lift it too high, etc without aches, etc) but I'm very keen to take up a martial art. Which one might be less *shoulder-intensive*?

Most of the music that's played on the radio, gets on tv, etc is there because there's a rich, powerful record label behind it.

Do you like any music that's not on a big record label? If so, what?

When you download a track, it tells you nothing about the artist, the circumstances of the recording, who plays on the track, the lyrics, etc. All you get is the song. Do people really just want a "quick fix?"

How is music ever going to move forward?
