What is an air intake gasket?
My car is leaking antifreeze and mechanic told me I blew the air intake gasket. Other than having to replace the antifreeze, the car is running fine. It's not overheating or anything. He seemed to insinuate that I should be overheating and that makes me question what he is saying needs replaced.

I don't. She has a great rack and should show off more of it, actually.
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade ago61% of the avg. taxpayers income goes to taxes. Are we not already a socialist country?
Today is tax freedom day. Sixty one percent of the average taxpayer's income goes to pay taxes. In the Soviet Union in 1990, the average taxpayer's income that went to taxes was 55%. Are we, the United States, more socialist than the overtly communist Soviet Union?

5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoIsn't the 90% tax Congress is trying to impose on AIG an ex post facto law forbidden by the Constitution?
From Yahoo-"Denouncing a "squandering of the people's money," lawmakers voted decisively Thursday to impose a 90 percent tax on millions of dollars in employee bonuses paid by troubled insurance giant AIG and other bailed-out companies"
Article I, Section 9 prohibits Ex Post Facto Laws. Do any of them get it or are they rushing to make political hay like they did with the bailout? Don't they learn from their past mistakes? Yeesh!
6 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoShould Ben Bernanke be removed from office immediately?
"Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told an audience at the National Press Club on Wednesday that he saw little risk that the Fed's efforts to fight the recession and a severe financial crisis would trigger inflation pressures."
Obviously, he's clueless. There is no way this "Stimulus" package cannot result in inflation.
11 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhat are you going to do with the money Obama is giving you?
He kept his campaign promise. If you make less than $75,000.00 a year, you will get $13.00 more every week in your paycheck until June when it goes down to $8.00.
That should cover my mortgage and car payment!!!! YEEEEHAAAA!

I think she's cute. Good looking for a fifty year old. I think that she has power and that makes her hot.
3 AnswersOther - Politics & Government1 decade agoWhere is John Cena? He wasn't on Raw Monday Night.?
It seems odd that he is the main event for a pay per view but hasn't been seen on Raw the week before. Doesn't do much to hype the ppv. I don't want to buy it and then have them pull a swerve that somebody else is getting the title shot. I would only buy because my kid loves Cena.
5 AnswersWrestling1 decade agoHow will Dr. Pepper distribute free drinks to everyone on Sunday?
They pledged that everyone in America, save Slash and Buckethead, will get a free Dr. Pepper when Chinese Democracy by Guns and Roses comes out. How will they do that? It seems unwieldy.
4 AnswersPolls & Surveys1 decade agoConservatives, Republicans, did you really think there would never be another Democrat elected?
You would have to be dreaming. It was going to happen one day. The Liberals were out of power and had the easy job of criticizing. Now, they have the difficult job of doing something and, for the first time in 31 years, THEY DON'T HAVE ANYONE TO BLAME!
Now, as they were with Carter, you will see how empty their policies are. The country will survive four years of Obama. Then we will have the next Ronald Reagan.
But don't be like they are. Wish him well. It is, after all, in our best interest if he succeeds. Even with Obamessiah, we still live in the greatest country this world has ever seen.
Carry yourself with class and dignity and, remember, November 2, 2010 is the midterm election and the first referendum on Obama. It's less than two years away.
5 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhat happens if the President doesn't qualify for a security clearance?
Generally speaking, if you join the military for instance, marijuana use use complicates getting a security clearance. Cocaine use makes it even harder and harder drugs complicate it even more. Obama has admitted using cocaine and that got me wondering about this hypothetical.
