I am fairly handy but never really build my own furniture. I need a box that is big enough to hold a marine battery. It needs to keep out the water and keep out theives. We just had our sump pump battery stolen. So a hinged lid with a lock would be great.

I'm a little embarrassed I don't know how to build something as simple as a box, but I'd like it to be sturdy and look professional with proper joints, etc. Thanks!

I am installing new doors. The old frames are aluminum and wrap around both sides of the stud. I can get them out with a gorilla bar if I have plenty of clearance. But in the corners I'm stuck. Can't drill the nail heads out, because the frame overlaps the top too. I hate these things! help.

Whenever I patch drywall with tape and mud. It leaves a smooth spot. The more I sand, the smoother it gets. But if I don't sand down, there is a blob. How do you get the patch to match the texture of the drywall?

If I step away for a few minutes the computer locks and I have to enter the password again. Is there a control for the amount of time until the computer locks?
