  • Burma's military junta government keeping the supplies?

    Sorry everyone, but i said this would happen as soon as i heard the news about so many dead in Myanmar after the cyclone.

    The only thing i know about Burma (Myanmar) is from Rambo 4. Sure enough the military is holding onto the supplies ment for the victims. Now i ask you YA community, why should the UN/US not send in the military to decimate this dispicable dictatorship which would see it's people die with not quams whatsoever?

    * Manage the nitrogen cycle

    * Provide access to clean water

    * Restore and improve urban infrastructure

    * Advance health informatics

    * Engineer better medicines

    * Reverse-engineer the brain

    * Prevent nuclear terror

    * Secure cyberspace

    * Enhance virtual reality

    * Advance personalized learning

    * Engineer the tools of scientific discovery

    Provide energy from fusion is my favorite, but I think nuclear terrorism should be changed out with nanotechnology applications. What are you guys' thoughts?

  • What will happen when the world runs out of oil?

    It doesn't need to be said how much we depend on a natural resource which has a finite supply and can never be renewed.

    I would like to hear a in depth analysis of what would happen to our lives when the oil runs out. Any links to websites that cover the subject would be greatly appreciated.

  • Yesterday I was lifting weights and......?

    I was trying to bench to much basically. While i was throwing the weight up i felt something "pop" in my back. Right between my shoulder blades. It hurt instantly and i had to stop everything and go home. All day yesterday it felt just like i had slept on it wrong, but today it's agony. My question is should i go to the doctor or is this something that he really can't do anything for and it will get better on it's own anyway?
