Why is it that Christians seem to get upset about Homosexuals?
more than other sins that people commit. Is it because they just think it's icky? I always thought that all sins were bad and that only your god could judge those who committed them. I mean I'm sure most don't get as agitated by people eating shellfish or people wearing clothes with multiple fibers in them so why is being gay so much more upsetting to them?
21 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoChristians please tell me exactly what morals are absolute ?
I have a hard time finding any moral or ethical situation that given the right circumstances I would not find it wrong to break any of your ten commandments.
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy are Republicans only okay with wealth redistribution when it goes in their favor?
I mean any time the tax rates are adjusted be they up or down it's redistributing the wealth. So why is only okay to lower taxes but never to raise them ? Is it not socialism to lower taxes as well ? I mean by lowering taxes you are in essence letting that tax bracket have more wealth.

6 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoWill Republicans now support stem cell research in an effort to bring back Reagan?
the only TRUE conservative hope they have to cling to?
12 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoIs it not possible that conservatives are a tiny minority since none of the candidates seem to cater to them?
I mean all you hear is how none of the candidates is a true conservative. If the republican party truly embraced those values wouldn't a conservative be winning?
6 AnswersElections1 decade agoWhy don't conservatives understand that there is a difference between an impeachment trial and actually being
impeached? Yes clinton had an inpeachment trial but "President of the United States Bill Clinton was impeached by the House of Representatives on December 19, 1998, and acquitted by the Senate on February 12, 1999. " (source wikipedia) do you just not know what the word acquitted means? So if your small minds still don't get it if you are impeached you are gone from office from that day on so how did Clinton finish out his term in office then? I mean he had people to give pardons to at the end.
21 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy do Bush lovers always blame it on the children ?
While I personally could care less that Bush sat for seven minutes after he knew we were under attack.I mean him not being involved to make decisions to me is a good thing. But to say that he couldn't have simply and calmly excused himself from story time is just plain stupid. Do you have so little faith in the man to think he can't leave a room without panicing the kids there?Do you think he was going to tell them what had happened?
15 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoHow can one tell a true christian from an untrue one ? they all claim to be but then reject one another if?
they have different views or interpretations. Is there some sort of test so we atheists can tell them apart?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWhy are the so many militant sounding atheists on here? I thought that in general atheists tended to be more?
open minded than the theists I have come across but your angry tones toward anyone who dare consider themself agnostic is pretty sad. Maybe you are using a diffderent definition for agnostic than I am.
dictionary.com
agnostic
1. a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as God, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience.
I also consider myself to be an atheist as I have no faith in god but I also believe that absolute knowledge as to the existence of god or a first cause is beyond us at this point. So why does this obviously bother so many of you that someone have a view other than yours?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoOkay I guess I should have worded my last question more precisely my mistake. I guess I am wondering why using
the term agnostic causes atheists to accuse one of being on the fence as it were? I realize that under the broad definition of atheism I am one and don't reject it at all for I don't believe in god. But I am open to the possibility of some sort of higher force or being beyond our limited comprehnesion so I use the term agnostic to describe myself it seems more precise to me. does this not make sense to you?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoFor Atheists: just curious but as an agnostic I wonder what facts or reason do you use to make the jump to?
say that there is no god with absolute certainty. I personally reject all formal religions but find it hard to logically say that there is no way there could be a god without proof one way or the other?
