I purchased a sporter classic ak from I.O. a few weeks ago. right off the bat i had to send it back because of rust in the barrel, took 3 weeks and all they did was run some stuff through the barrel. i have since gotten it back and put about 250 rounds through it and not dropped or banged it ONCE (i take excellent care of all my guns). in this time the little rod on the front underside has snapped and wont stay in place it has jammed 8-10 times and the bolt had rotated out of its track, on the side of the receiver, twice. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced these kinds of problems with the same gun or same type of AK from I.O. I bought this ak because it was supposedly "new off the line" and 100% American made but i am having more problems than my buddies that has Warsaw and century guns. I thought i'd pose this question first before dealing with IO again and shipping off my gun for another 3 weeks to a month.

I was recently at a gun show and saw a nice tactical shotgun butt stock shell pouch. this was no ordinary pouch on the outside were 6 slots then it had a zipper into a lil pouch that held another 6 and had some extra room then had a tiny zipper pocket (big enough for 1 or 2small tools) behind those 6 inside the pouch. I didn't pick it up cause i was short the money ($20) and haven't seen one since on any sites, and the gun show doesn't return till July. Anyone have anymore Info please? For the past three semesters I have been stagnant and unmotivated with college. I am finishing my fourth year and still have 1-1.5 years of undergrad left before graduate school. I'm studying occupational therapy. But my gpa isn't the best and I have gotten to the point were I'm totally unmotivated in school and life and not sure what I wan to do anymore or why I'm in school. I am thinking about going to a community college getting my EMT certification and doing that for a little bit. My fear is that if I don't finish my four years that people will look down on me or I might not go back. Or that by the time I go back and finish up school and grad school it'll be too late. I'm currently 22. I'm lost and have no idea what to do, I don't want to waste money and do bad in classes because I have no motivation for extended education right now but I also don't want to bail out of school. Does anyone have any advice or gone through this same roadblock?

A family member recently passed and in the basement we found medical grade O2 tanks 1 filled 1 near empty, they expire this year and I was wondering if a regular civilian can get them pressure tested and refilled? My buddy n I r hardcore athletes and know how to use oxygen around workouts. But never had our own tanks.

I am trying to decide on a TV for black Friday. I have been looking at plasma or LED. I am currently stuck between LG 47" LED and zenith 50" plasma. This tv would be my primary tv and used for watching tv, watching sports/UFC and gaming I might rarely use it for my laptop for short periods(a few hours). I was wondering if anyone could tell me which may have the better picture, better motion capabilities, and better angle view. This will be in my basement so glare isn't really an issue. I am mainly looking for a clear crisp moving picture that will wow me and last for at least a few years. Thanks all and happy holidays!!

Today I went shooting with my gorgeous XDm full-size .40 caliber handgun. A plastic hip holster came with it and I decided to use it for the first time today. ( I have had the gun about a year and shot many times but never had to use the holster where I was shooting.) and after a few times of taking it out and putting it back in (straight in and straight out not jerking at any odd angles.) I noticed I brown almost brass colored scratches grouped up on the inside (I shoot right handed). About a quarter inch long in a slanted up motion. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if they can be buffed out, covered or if Springfield armory will fix this? I realize to some this may not matter at all, but to me I love everything about my gun and appearance is important especially if I have to sell it( HOPEFULLY NEVER) down the road if I get in a tight spot. I own a XDM 40 S&W, money is tight and ammo prices have gone up quite a bit just recently and i am almost out of my range ammo. I found a very good priced box of "inspected once-fired" 40 s&w (on cheaper than dirt.com). all the reviews on it but one were great i just wanted some opinions on once fired ammo. EX. what it will do to the gun, what can go wrong, ect.This ammo would be range use only, I have separate ammo for home defense.

I was injured at work by twisting my knee. It has been 10 days of hell. I have only been off work resting for a total of 4 days ( this goes off a 5 days work week with 2 days off) and other days have been "light duty" which actually made my injury worse. I am 21 years old and the knee is feeling a little better. The first Doctor did an Xray and found fluid in the knee but would not do an MRI i have seen another doctor through the same urgicare and a orthopedist referred to by the urigcare my company sent me to. Both the second doctor and orthopedist have refused to do an MRI on my knee. I am doing my best to go along with the rules but i am becoming concerned that they are trying to send me back to work and i have only had ONE xray a week and half ago that showed fluid in the knee and NO MRI. My chiropractor want me to get an attorney and send me for an MRI. So if you're still reading THANK YOU, so my question is should i go with an attorney to protect me and get an MRI through my chiropractor? I am in no way looking to make a court case and sue ANYONE i just want to be assured nothing is torn and there is no cartilage damage. I am not good at being an asshole which usually means i don't always stand up for myself. Also in the state of OH can i be fired from my company over a workers comp claim? (i do have a union) but legally can i be fired and if my chiropractor makes me sign up with an attorney just to protect me will my Company go on the defensive and turn this into a court case? I twisted my knee at work. I am jumping through all the hoops butthe doc my work sent me to spoke extremely poor English and I have no faith in her medical opion and am scared she may have mis diagnosed, she never showed or explained to me the results of the xrays she just said I have mild sprain and said I could go back to work the next day. Ever since the injury my knee pop really loud and hurts horribly every time it pops I can hobble on it but it gets real uncomfortable real quick, it not too swollen but it's the crunching when I bend it a lil and the constant, painful, popping when I hobble and move it that has me worried. Any thoughts or experience with this type of injury?

I am looking for comparison pricing on a mossberg 500 tactical persuader. I found one at a local gun shop for 300 it is an 8 +1 capacity, has heat shield and pistol grip (unknown if ar butt stock is included in price) can anyone find a better price or a shop with a better price in Ohio or south Carolina? I had a set of nice computer speakers from the early 2k and I am trying to figure out the brand or required power source because I lost the power cord and need a new one. aaarrg! The set is; a grey box which is the subwoofer it is about a 9in square it has a horizontal stet of holes for the cords to go into and it has 4 separate speakers if it helps the colors of the holes are red, orange, grey, black, blue green. Each speaker is about 4-4.5 in tall and can tilt back on a grey almost fully circular base which is about 3in in diamiter. Also the subwoofer has no visible hole except on the bottom where there is a plastic square mesh over a large hole about 3in in diamiter

I'm going to Floridia soon and I'm looking for a cheaper digital camera. Nothing fancy jus one that is RELIABLE and takes VIEWABLE and DECENT pictures. Sorry just want to get across I'm looking for something that wont fail, just really need it for a week or two. I'm looking to keep it under 120. I am 21 a male and cannot every remember sleep walking. I own a handgun and lately due to neighborhood problems I am looking to keep it loaded but locked in a case within arms length. I am wondering the odds/chance of me sleep walking or something and shooting myself or someone else with out me being aware. Odd fear I know but please just let me know thanks :)

So I have two towers they both run but are a little old, is there any wiring/programming I can use to run them together on the same monitor like double the speed by having both run? An thoughts or ideas?

I own a XDm 40s&w full sized handgun. I keep it near my bed for home defense. I use the winchester PDX 1 bonded JHP as the ammo in the clip. Now my question is if an intruder was to enter and I needed to cock the gun, if I pulled back the slide and let it go foreword slowly to reduce the noise would this cause the gun to malfunction or jam? When I took my saftey course the instructor said to always pull the slide back and let go and let it slam back into place for a spiny tension issue or something. But when I do this it makes alot of noise. So again my question is will it cause the gun to malfunction if I pull the slide back to chamber the initial round then ease it back into place to reduce the noise? Side not I do not store it loaded 1. Because you never store a gun an ammo together but also 2.because there are children in the house.
