  • Do you think supporters of the Republican party wish Mitt Romney wasn't their presidential candidate?

It seems that Mitt Romney is not "Republican" enough to have the confidence of the true conservatives in this country. Do true republicans wish that someone like Rick Santorum would have won the Republican nomination and stand up for their beliefs/philosophies better than Mitt Romney is right now?

As a democrat I was hoping Romney would win the nomination because his beliefs are hard to identify. I was scared to death of Santorum because he had a set of beliefs that he honestly believed in. I felt that would rally the GOP and undecided voters and result in a republican win in the upcoming election.

  • What's the right price to watch someones 3 month old for 6 weeks?

A co-worker/friend of mine is going to Germany for 6 weeks for an Air Force Reserve rotation and her husband is deployed to Afghanistan with the Army. She and I are both Army Civilians so deployments are a common thing around us and the Army lifestyle sort of makes the people you work with your family because everyone is transplanted.

She has offered me and my wife $500 to watch her 3 month old for 6 weeks (the baby isn't born yet and she doesn't have any other kids so I don't think she knows how much work it is). We haven't "officialy" sat down and talked about all of the details (medical appointments, travelling with the baby, formula, diapers..) and we are going to ask for some more money. We currently have a 10 month old son and my wife doesn't work so she can raise our son. At the end of the day we are doing it more as a favor to her but 500 just seems really low.

How much do you think is a fair price for such a large task? Any tips for approaching the sitdown and asking for more money?

  • Brakes on Tahoe problem?

This is difficult to describe. I drive a 2002 Chevy Tahoe with upgraded tow package. When I brake something weird happens when my truck gets down to 6 mph. The brake seem to 'slip' and then it sounds like a bump bump bump noise from the wheel and then it stops and the car comes to a stop.

By slip it seems that the brakes stop working for about 0.3 seconds and then re-engage. This used to happen occacsionaly (maybe 5% of the time) now it happens about 85% of the time. It sounds, and feels, like it only happening to the front drivers side tire.

Anyone have any idea what this could be. And its weird that it only happens when i slow down to 6mph never faster and never slower.

  • Don't you love being quick scoped in MW3?

It's such a great thing they brought cheating back.

They really went outside the box when they made every single map a big circle with debris everywhere that you can't climb on and get stuck when you try to run by it...

Is it just me or can you not see guys on the maps? I have a 56 inch HDTV and don't see the enemy right in front of me.

  • Help travel costs for trip to NYC?

I'm going to NYC veterans day weekend Friday - Sunday. Is it a good idea to get a hotel in Jersey and take the subway over? I'll have my 8 month old son with me and his stroller so I don't know if it's too long of a ride or should I just pay the 30 dollars a day or whatever to park in Manhatten? Any good insight to reduce travel costs

  • Do you get mad at people on TV?

Do you hate it when people on TV pretend to be smart and say dumb things like:

"Our daughter, Tiffany, came to the park with Bob and I."

    or

"Him and I were having a tough time after the fight."

Did people forget what they learned in 5th grade or are they just stupid? And if you don't know what is wrong with these two statements, study.

  • Was Alec Baldwin right?

He had a commercial at the beginnning of the season where he was on the phone with a Boston fan and he's a Yanks fan and he said:

"Go ahead celebrate in April. We'll dance in October!"

PS: JV is going to smoke the Yanks on Firday against CC (AKA only good against bad teams)

  • Do you know the difference between spiritual and religious?

Just because you don't belong to a religion doesn't mean you can't believe in God.

  • Would you rather buy a bomb or your neighbor food?

What would you rather have tax money spent on:

    (1) $150,000 bomb

    or

(30,000) $5 meals for your starving neighbors

  • You can't talk to me while I'm on the phone with someone?

Why has our culture made the rule that you can't talk to someone who is in front of you while they are on the phone? Who's more important?

  • Are you a middle/low class republican?

Why in the world would you vote for Republicans if you are not a millionare? All they do is protect their money and the rich people that vote for them. Why would you support republicans if you aren't rich? I understand that they steal the religious vote by acting like they are against gays and all about God (even though they get caught with male hookers all the time) but why would anyone else vote for them? They don't spend less money (Dem and Rep both spend too much money), they don't support you, and they want the middle class to pay the taxes for the rich. I mean I don't want to pay high taxes, I would much rather have the rich pay them for me.

And don't say that it creates jobs if you keep rich peoples taxes lower. It isn't true, if it were there would be no unemployment right now because their taxes are low. That's the BS that the republicans brainwash all of their followers with.

  • Who do you start at flex?

    Tim Hightower (ARI)

    Cadillac Williams (NYG)

    Reggie Bush (HOU)

    Willis McGahee (CIN)

    Santonio Holmes (NYJ)

    Jeremy Maclin (ATL)

I have the most stacked bench this week. I'm leaning towards starting Cadillac because the guy I'm playing has Steven Jackson and refused to trade with me for Cadillac. So, it would be nice to run over him with his own handcuff.

(I already have Vick Johnson Gore Wallace and Nelson filling the other slots; and it's a 10 team PPR keeper league)

  • Pick 3 of 4 for Week 1?

I have a flex spot and two WR positions open:

    Flex: Tim Hightower

    WR1: Mike Wallace

    WR2: Jeremy Maclin

    Bench: Sanontio Holmes

I currently have Holmes on the bench but am starting to second guess myself. I'm definitely starting Mike Wallace. Who would you start?
