1 AnswerOther - Latin America1 decade agoVolunteer work in Colombia?
Hello,
Im 20 years old and live in Holland. Next year I want to go for 3 months to Colombia to do volunteer work, (preferably in big cities like Bogota or Medellin, or just near the coast like Barranquilla)
it would be cool to work with poor children that live in the streets and educate them, like English or something.
Ive been searching for volunteer work in Colombia but all I can find are these programs that go from $300 per week.. imagine that 3 months will almost $4000,-
Are there any programs that are free? I mean, the ones that provide you with shelter and food??
(I will pay my own flight thats no problem).
Thanks!

Hello,
my friend went to see a male witch (in spanish embrujo). and he took a picture of me, the witch told him all things about me and they were completely 100% true!
My question is, how is this called? When you take a picture of a person and the witch (or however you want to call it) tells you about the personality about that person in the picture, how is that called??
i tried photo reading but thats a complete different thing.
Thanks for the answers!
7 AnswersParanormal Phenomena1 decade agoHow to explaine global warming to my friends?
Hello!!
One of my friends always leaves the light on in the bathroom even when he is not using it. and I have like this obsessive-copulse syndrom and I always turn of the light and always turn off the computer when Im not using it.
My friends dont see the point of this, so I try to tell them:
"you are wasting electricity, you dont need the light so turn it off''.
They tell me: why do you care? youre not paying for it?
And I say: well your polluting the earth (Because I think the electricity is on so where does the electricity come from? its not like my friends have a windmill or photovoltaic ''green power'' ?!!
So how can I explaine them or just other people, because in my school they always close the curtins and turn on the light, thats stupid right? how can I make my point?
Thank you in advance :)
God bless
9 AnswersGlobal Warming1 decade agoWhy don't Latin countries recycle?
Hello,
last month I was three weeks in Puerto Rico, I loved it! beautiful island!
but I have a question, what I saw was people just throw everthing away in the garbage; paper, glass, plastic, cans....
thats such a waste!! you can recycle that all!!
And now Im confuesed, here in Holland Im always recycling paper and glass but meanwhile there are countries in the world (like Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Mexico - that's where I saw it) where they just dont care and throw it all away... so whats the point for me to continue recycling? (dont worry, I am recycling still :-)
So my question, why those countries don't recycle?? Please tell me If im wrong, but I just havnt seen anyone recycle nor have I seen recycle bins.
Thanks for answering the question!! Thank You!
5 AnswersGreen Living1 decade agoAny one knows the name of this song?
Hi!!! please help!!!
When I was 2 or 3 years old, I was in LOVE with this song!! but i dont know what the title is!!!!

Heart is love and thats all...''
(the chorus was something like this:)
''Where is your star what's your living?
must be in the ..................
I want you what about your living, just as in the town''
I have a 36 seccond record of an old audio tape with this on it,
but i wish to find the song and have it all, please if anyone understands my question (i know its kind of vague) and anyone who might know the song please tell me, I will be thankfull to you alot!! Im looking for this song for years many years.
In advance: Thank You VERRYYYY much!!

3 AnswersNetherlands1 decade agoLife of a commercial airline pilot?
Hello, this is my first question :)
What does the life of a pilot look like? I mean, a commercial airline pilot?
Let's say, someone who works for Iberia, KLM, US airways, TAP, whatever airline, does the pilot fly only for that company?
How many days a week? How often is a flight to the same destination? Is there another destination every day?
Is there a main city? I mean, if you live in the Netherlands, do you fly like a pilot for KLM from Amsterdam to another city and back? or basically around the whole world?
What time you go to sleep? If you arrive at your destination, where do you stay? Hotel?? Do you have time to visit the city you traveled to? How long should you stay there before having your next flight??
Yes- I already have done some research about the life of a pilot and I have understand that its pretty hectic and stressfull, but please I'd like to know how a full day of a pilot would look like.. or a week,
a day of a pilot's life...
thank you for sharing your thoughts/information!!
