I have about $11,000 in credit card debt I've been avoiding. I need some sort of consolidation. What are the pros and cons for Chapter 13 and a debt consolidation company? Any personal experiences?

I usually buy drugstore hair color to dye my hair, and I was thinking about trying one of those kits where you can dye and highlight your hair out of one box. Has anyone ever tried it? Does it work well? Is it easy to use? How bad can I screw it up? What are the best brands to use?

I have two cats. One is a male, 2 1/2 years old and neutered. The other is a 1 year old female that is not spayed. The one year old got out the other day and was gone until late tonight. When she left, she was in heat. She does not have any cuts or wounds, nor does she have fleas or ticks. However, I have kept her away from our other cat for fear of transmitted diseases. I am planning on taking her to the vet tomorrow morning, but how long will it take for any tests to come back for things like FIV and FeLV? I am sure my two cats want to see each other again. Am I being too paranoid? Does anyone know how expensive it is to get a cat tested for various things?

Yesterday, all over the news we saw the huge pet food recall. All the articles say it's the wheat gluten that is tied to the kidney failure the animals experience after ingesting the food. What exactly is wrong with the wheat gluten? Is it contaminated? With what? Who made the mistakes here? What do you think?

If anyone watched Access Hollywood last night, they showed a video (which has since been deleted from YouTube) with Paris Hilton saying extremely racist and disrespectful remarks, including using the "N" word. There have been several other celebrities that have made such remarks and the media wasn't going to let it fly. Why let it with Paris Hilton? I've heard that "people don't take her seriously, she is too much of a cartoon character" as an excuse not to hold her responsible. Is it just me, or should this not just be let go?

My boyfriend has been a server for about 15 years. He has a wonderful idea for a restaurant that he and his best friend (who has also been a server for about 15 years) came up with. None of us have good credit to get a loan, but we are all very competent people and I firmly believe that we would be a success. Do you have any suggestions on where to go from here?

Almost every night after I am asleep, my 2 cats (One 1 year old female, one 2 1/2 year old male) think it's the perfect playtime. They run from one end of the house to the other and jump on the tables and pretty much just try to make as much noise as possible. I have tried to separate them in different rooms, but then they start clawing at the doors and mewing like there is no tomorrow. Any suggestions?
