3 AnswersCats6 years agoHow to file a Contempt of Court Pro-Se in Texas?
Long story short - my ex-wife and I divorced in 2010 in Bexar County Courthouse (San Antonio, TX) after a rocky relationship. She was awarded our house and custody of our child. The judge ordered in the decree and told her personally that she had to a.) remove me completely from the loan and title of our home, and b.) provide me with proof of my child's medical coverage costs that I'm ordered to pay. She was given six months to provide this and now over three years later she's yet to provide it.
Now I've finally rebuilt my life and am looking to buy some land but can't because i'm still attached to this home loan debt. I've also since found out from a friend of hers that the $160 i'm paying in medical costs a month (in addition to 500 in child support) is WAY more than the actual costs. SO - how do i go about filing a contempt of court and ask the judge to enforce the decree orders? I personally don't like attorneys because each time it's just been a hassle of "take your money and run" situations; they're not all bad I just have bad luck with them. But I am an educated guy and can figure some things out if pointed in the right direction. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you,
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years ago(2) 4ohmSVC subs into amp - wiring question?
Please verify and double-check my wiring before I actually hook it up and turn it on: I have two 4ohm SVC subs that I'm wiring into a monoblock amp. On schematics I've found it shows to wire the sub#2 into sub#1 and then wire sub#1's connections into the amp's + and - speaker output terminals. My question is: my amp comes with two sets of + and - speaker outputs ( ++ - - ). Am I correct in assuming that I place the the red + speaker wire on the far left output and the black - wire on the far right output?
Subs: (2)Pioneer TS-W259S4 10", 350watt RMS
Amp: Kenwood eXcelon XR-1S mono digital amplifier
Wiring: 4 gauge wiring kit
3 AnswersCar Audio9 years agoStereo integration and aftermarket harnesses for NBS Silverado? Help!?
I'm upgrading the stereo in my 2007 (new body style) Silverado LT extended cab. After searching and asking around I'm told that in order to swap the OEM head unit for an aftermarket I'll have to buy two or three different harnesses. Is this so? I'm told the radio unit controls the chimes, OnStar, and even the airbags. I don't care about the OnStar, but everything else I'll need, including steering wheel controls. Does anyone know a.) which harnesses I need exactly? b.) best place to buy them? Thanks..
