  • How to remove scratches from car?

I have a newer Corolla and I've noticed a lot of small scratches and hairline scratches and circular scratches from car washes, etc. This might have actually happened from a dealer who did a fast complimentary wash during an oil change. I never noticed this before. None of the scratches are deep, you can't feel them. The car looks mint from a few steps away, as is the interior which is why I want a clean looking body. The car is maroon, but in some places it shows white on the scratch. What is the best way to have it done? Should I take it and have it hand buffed?

  • How can we teach our 3 year old to use toilet?

She's scared to death of getting on the tiolet. We tried to buy her a potty chair, but she is very wise and knows this is a miniature version of a toilet and is scared of it exactly the same way. She seems to have wierd phobias about things and this is one of them. Should we wait until she's old enough to understand the importance of using the toilet, or should we try another method? Is waiting to toilet train too long a problem?

  • Is my refrigerator okay?

I am renting a new ref, newer Whirpool. I only have to pay $150 more and it's mine. It seems to work good except if the freezer if accidently left open (even a little), the inside frosts up If it's left wider open, it's worse and you have to wipe away the ice and frost. The temperature settings are set on normal. I only see one general setting. Is this a sign of a pending problem or defect? I don't recall this with other refs I have had. before I spend my final cash, I want to make sure I dont have a defective ref?

  • Is it beginning signs of hyperactivity?

Our 3 year old daughter sometimes throws fits and can't seem to control herself. Running around, getting into everything, won't listen, gets mad and cries, throws herself on the floor, arches her head back so you can't pick her up. It's like she is hyperactive and can't stop. It's worse when she is in the store, and wants something and gets so upset it doesnt even matter if you buy it for her or not. She just goes crazy, cries, throws herself on the floor, and you have to carry her out. When she does have her fits, no displine can get through. She seems to be out of it (even to herself). However, she comes out of the fits usually within a short time. I wonder if this behavior is the early signs of a hyperactive child?

  • How can my wife build credit?

She has one credit card, a job for about six months, and no other established credit (good or bad). What is the best way for her to establish a good credit rating with the hopes of getting a loan, buy a car/house someday, etc?

  • Can't wear shoes?

I am not sure if anyone else in the USA might have this problem? But I have a problem with my feet and can't wear shoes. It's not a new problem, been going on close to 10 years. It's just my feet and the availablity of soft comfortable shoes has become less and less over the years. I've been to feet doctor and they say my feet have no disease, etc. However, I have pinched nerves in my lower spine (leg pain and tingling), and I am sure it also affects my feet. My feet are okay when not wearing shoes, or just soft slippers. I have one pair of earth shoes from several years ago I can still wear. But anything else I have tried causes extreme pain and burning. I've even tried a pair of Supreme Soft Spots and they hurt like hell. My feet are also big and wide and I also have trouble finding my size and width, which doesnt help the issue. Anyway, maybe I am alone in this, but I thought I'd ask the question and see if there's anyone who can relate or advise???

  • How much will my tax rebate be?

Me and my wife made $21,000 last year (line 22 form 1040). 20,000 gross adjusted (line 37). Lines 44-46 that people are talking about are all 0 amount. Lines 52 & 57 that I have also heard about are ALSO 0! The only place I even have any amounts shown are all the way down to line 66a under payments which is $2,400. Line 72 says $3,500 (total payments). Our refund was $1,100 because after our deduction and child credit, we didnt owe anything. So technically our tax liability was 0 the way I comprehend it. Does this mean our rebate is nothing? We are making more money this year, maybe end up being close to double (because both of us are working full time now). If we dont get anything this year, we will get it next year? With a child, we were hoping for $1800. Now I dont know what to think?

  • Potty Training daughter?

Our daughter is 3 months short of being 3 years old. We want to potty train her but she is scared of the toilet (to sit on it). She knows what pee and poop is, where it comes from, and where we do it at. But if you try to put her up there, she gets scared to death and wants down. We don't want to wait too long to start the process. Furthurmore, In the last couple months, she has JUST started talking a lot of words (not many sentences yet). She took a while to get the hang of it. You cant talk to her legibly about this so communication is limited. It's like show and tell. She just repeats a lot of words and links it to what you said. Anyway, under the circumstances, what would be the best way to start training a child like ours?

  • How can I stop my daughter from cursing?

My 2 1/2 year old learned the words **** and **** about a month or so ago. Me and my wife say it on occasion and she seemed to learn it in a day. Since then we stopped cursing around her but she wont quit saying the s and the f word. She even knows the proper time to use it during anger, not getting her own way, or to agitate you. I have tried everything to disipline, but she wont stop. Slapping or spanking doesnt work, she thinks it's funny and says them both more, laughs and runs (hoping you'll chase to catch her). Pain doesnt seem to be much of a deal and beating isnt an option (LOL). Yelling dont work either, she just ignores or throws herself on the floor and continues repeating the curse words. She also says it in public when she wont get own way and it's embarrasing. She's a good baby otherwise, but the cursing is too much!
