Where can I find a manual for Magic Chef gas wall oven, model 9oha4kx?
I went to http://magicchef.com/ to download the manual and even phoned them but it is no longer available. The house we live in had an older Magic Chef oven when we moved in. The oven is great and we don't want to replace it. Does anyone know where I can find an owner's manual for a Magic Chef gas wall oven, Model 9oha4kx?
Maintenance & Repairs1 decade agoWhen a deaf person reads,?
When a hearing person reads, the words are generally translated in to speech (or imagined speech) in their head. When a deaf person (one who has been completely deaf their entire life) reads, is the text translated to sign in their head? I just finished an introductory ASL class yesterday. Last night I was reading and started to wonder about this.
8 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade agoHow long should I eat wheat before being tested for Celiac Disease?
I eat a wheat restricted (not GF) diet & have for a few years on & off. When I get stressed I often go on bread binges. My doctor want me to see a gastroenterologist and a rheumatologist (elevated liver enzymes, +ANA, - hepatitis). I am concerned it may be Celiac Disease. I feel fine if I avoid all gluten, when I eat it I get joint pain, headaches, foggy headed, eczma, acne, insomnia, stomach issues (gas, bloating, several days of constipation followed by a few days of diarrhea then it repeats), and allergies get worse (they are all but non-existent if I avoid gluten). These things start slow and get worse the longer I eat wheat. I plan on discussing this with the GI doc, but how long do I have to eat "normal" amounts of wheat before being tested? I considered just going strictly GF but don't want them to treat me for something else if this is the issue. I also need to know for sure because my youngest is severely autistic and does better on a gluten restricted diet.

I have a 1998 Ford Windstar. I was driving on the freeway (about 70 mph) and it was running fine. I tried to accelerate to pass a car and the engine just made a revving sound, it didn't accelerate. The engine was still running smoothly, it was just going on inertia, not accelerating. I managed to coast to the shoulder and get it towed. The transmission fluid is fine and it hasn't been slipping or anything when I drive (before this). I did not hear or feel anything unusual prior to this. What could it be besides the transmission? If it is the transmission, how bad is it likely?
4 AnswersFord1 decade ago1987 Mazda 626, as a spare car for emergencies and a project for a 14-yr old, what are your thoughts?
I have been looking for an inexpensive second car. I am the only one at the moment in the house that drives but I want a spare so we aren't stranded if our current one has a problem (like this past weekend). I found a 1987 Mazda 626, it does need the front struts replaced and the paint is messed up (but no rust). It has a clean title (never wrecked, flooded, salvaged, etc.) and I am going to have it checked by a mechanic and test drive it before I decide for sure. It has 170k miles. If it checks out (other than the struts), would this be a good bet for a second car for emergencies and as a project for my 14 yr old? My main concern is that it be reliable. Any thoughts or experiences with these cars? Assuming the only problems are the paint and the struts, what would be a fair price on the vehicle?
5 AnswersOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoAny suggestions for ready made gluten free bread that tastes nice?
Several people in my household do much better on a gluten free diet. I have tried some ready made gluten free breads but none have been remotely nice. Does anyone know of a nice tasting gluten free bread? I can make bread but sometimes do not have the time and need a ready made alternative. Thanks.
