I live in New Orleans and is considering buying a blighted house for a few thousand dollars. The house is in a very good, safe and historical neighborhood. I thought about flipping the house as well. The house has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1250 square feet. But if I rebuild the house I can design it any way I want. (It will be ok to do so.) I have a budget of $30,000. Do you think this will be enough for labor, materials, etc.... I am looking to build a good quality home with this amount.

Cops are writing tickets for almost everything. So do the math: If there are 100 plus cops in a department, and if each one write about 10 tickets a day. With each ticket costing about $120. That's $120,000 in tickets alone. I know some get thrown out but some citizens actually pay. Also think about even bigger cities.(Los Angeles, New York, Houston etc.)

I am getting my car painted a different color. In Louisiana we must renew our car registration if we change the color of our vehicle.
