Are middle school students allowed to go on strike and why?

So, there's this girl in my art class that I really like. I have no clue if she likes me or not. I read all that stuff online about what she does if she likes u (im a loser lol) but I can't figure it out. were pretty good friends by now and we talk a fair amount. i dont want to ask her out because last year, i asked a ton of people out as jokes and got rejected and i don't think she would take me seriously if she didn't like me. all my friends r kinda dumb and i dont want them 2 talk 2 her 4 me and ask her if she likes me because they would tell her and they're idiots.

So, this kid at school and I hate each other. In PE, we make each other mad with stuff that we do. So, he said I was an idiot for doing the wrong stretch in PE in front of everyone. So, later I underhand threw a rock about 3 in x 1n at him. He hates me so much that he told the teacher and almost got me suspended. I don't knew what to do now. I went up to him after class and told him that this was stupid and that we should have a truce. He said no and was really rude about it. What should I do except switch out, or tell on him?

Our class is going to do a community service deed. We all need to come up with some organization we could help during school hours, for 1 day in Los Angeles. Any ideas are great! Thanks!
