Does this look good and if so, should I add a tie?(what color tie?)

I plan on closing a credit card account. I can afford to pay it all off. The reason why I want to close it is because I haven't used it for a while now and I have too many cards open. At the same time, it has a monthly fee and there is a fee to pay it online. I've had it for 12 months now and have paid on time every month.

What my question is, if I do continue this closure, will it affect my credit score and history? If so, how?

I heard that your insurance company will replace your windshield if it gets hit. For example, what if the windshield is hit by a rock and makes a crack, will they replace it? I also heard that it will be free and it won't increase the price of my insurance policy. Are all of these true?

I have a '04 Honda Civic LX. Whenever I apply the brakes and press it all the way, there is a click that I can feel on the brake pad. It is usually one click only. This only happens when I press the brake as far as it can go. I want to know what that click means?
