  • Caramel apples from caramel apple dip?

    Is it possible to make caramel apples using caramel apple dip?

    I have some dip sitting in my fridge and I'm really craving caramel apples and prefer NOT to use the dip as a dip. Is there anything I can add to the dip to create the consistency I need to make whole caramel apples where the caramel hardens a bit? If I just dip the apple in the caramel apple dip, I'm pretty sure the caramel will remain sticky and gooey. I know that people usually melt caramel candies and use that to make caramel apples, but I want to use what I currently have in my kitchen.

  • Will a surfboard 2" shorter than what I've used make a big difference?

    I'm looking into buying a surfboard online and found one that I really like, but it's 7'6" (the next one I like is 8') and I was initially looking for a 7'8" funboard because I believe that's around the size I was riding when I was learning if not a few inches longer. I'm 5'1 around 510-515 lbs and have surfed about 3 times. Friends have told me that I'm a fast learner so I guess I'd be able to adjust in the case it does make a big difference?

    I'd just like to know your opinions so any input is greatly appreciated. I'm thinking it wouldn't matter too much, but I could be wrong so I'm just making sure.

  • What movie has this following scene with walkie talkies?

    This has been bugging me for the past weekend so I need some help.

    What movie has the scene involving two guys (I'll name them Guy 1 and Guy 2) with walkie talkies and Guy 1 is more into it than Guy 2. Guy 1 tells Guy 2 something along the lines of "After you say something on the walkie talkie, you have to say 'over,' over" and so when Guy 2 proceeds without finishing his sentences with "over," Guy 1 pretends he didn't hear what he said until he finishes his sentences correctly.

  • Tokina 0.22x vs. Opteka fisheye lens for Canon G9?

    I'm looking into purchasing the Canon G9, I love fisheye pictures, and I don't plan to spend too much on a fisheye lens, but I really, really want one.

    Anybody have experience with any of these two lenses to help me decide which one I should purchase? They're both under $100 so I know not to expect toooo much from them. I've looked at sample photos on Flickr, but I still don't know which I would prefer to have and use. I have also read simple reviews on them, but can't seem to compare them much.

    Any insight would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
