Should I keep waiting or get in a relationship?
A few months after breaking up with my boyfriend of 2 years, I met a great guy called Alex. Because of things that have happened to me in the past, I don't really open up to many people but Alex and I hit it off straight away and started talking everyday and seeing each other very often. We both developed feelings deeper than a friendship but I told him from day one that I didn't want anything serious because I just got out of a serious relationship. He always said it was fine because he was so in love and he'd wait till I was ready. So, we'd been casually taking it slow and seeing each other for 7 months (nothing too serious) and last month, he said he still loves me but he can't wait any longer and told me to go experience being single and have my fun because he knows that's what I want. I miss him like crazy and don't know what to do.
Because of the things that have happened to me in the past, I don't really have a close circle of friends so I can't distract myself or go out and enjoy the single life much.. so, although i often feel like i should enjoy being single for once and try to make new friends and broaden my horizons, i don't really get the chance to so sometimes I feel like there really is no point being single, so I feel like I'm stuck. What should I do? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

i have to create a balance sheet out of the following data:
it was organised on 1 january 2010. at the end of january 2010, the following monthly financial data are available:
total revenues $150 000
total expenses (excl income tax) 100 000
income tax expense (all unpaid as of January 2010) $15 000
cash balance, 31 january 2010 $20 000
receivables from customers (all considered collectable) 25 000
merchandise inventory (by inventory count- at cost) 42 000
payables to suppliers for merchandise purchased from them (will be paid during Feb 2010) 11 000
contributed capital (2600 shares) 26 000
(no divends were declared or paid)
i put down cash, customer receivables and merchandise inventory under assets, payables to suppliers and income taxes under liabilites, and contributed capital under shareholder's equity.. but it doesn't balance.. can someone help me?
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoi don't understand this debit/credit transaction stuff..please help?
i dont understand this example... (GST is goods and service tax which is 10% on top of sales..)
Goodman Fielder sold oils and fats to customers for cash and received $39 600 in total. in addition, the company charged $30 000 (GST excl.) for breads sold to supermarkets, receiving $21 000 cash with the rest due on account.
now i understand that cash would increase ($39 600 + 21 000)
but i don't understand the rest because of the GST stuff.. can someone please expain it to me?
1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoprofits and costs.. can someone please explain?
i don't understand this: "selling land for more than the original purchase price does not result in a revenue if the transaction is not within the central operating focus of the business. instead, the proceeds from sale are offset against the cost of the asset sold and the resulting gain or loss is disclosed as a net amount". what does this mean? also what does it mean by proceeds are offset against costs?

2 AnswersOther - Business & Finance1 decade agoBest answer to first answer.. when does owners' equity increase?
if a company issued $2000 of shares, receiving cash from investors, that would mean cash increases by $2000 but what would the effect be on owners' equity? would it increase or decrease by $2000? why? (i'm very confused)

otherwise known as b*tching or talking behind people's backs..
i guess most people "b*tch" to an extent.. but i'm just curious .. there are some teenage girls that are really nice and have heaps of friends and they dont gossip at all .. i was just wondering, how is this possible ? these days most teenage girls' conversations revolve around other girls.. it's mainly just gossip etc..
but how do the girls with heaps of friends manage not to b*tch at all ? what do they talk about then ? and how do they always remain so nice ?
