I'm currently majoring in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Management. I have worked with a lot of different horses, from breeding to a small amount of training. I'm a western rider so I pretty much know nothing about any English riding questions! I don't rag on others answers, but I will answer how I believe. I have had horses all my life, going to school for them, and had plenty of experiences, but I don't know everything and will admit that. Sorry if my answers aren't the same as yours but...well...tough?

6 AnswersHorses1 decade agoSmelly Kennel?
What's the best way to get rid of a smell in a dog kennel that has a dirt floor? It's a 10' x 10' if that matters. I clean it at least once a week, but the urine must be getting in the dirt, and he lifts his leg to pee outside of it through the chain link sometimes. Are there any products to help deodorize it that work really well? Is there anything to do about the dirt floor smelling without changing out the dirt? Any info on deodorizing products would be appreciated.
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWhat is this bug??
I wish I could get pictures but it's fast and creepy! It looks like a really hairy catepillar but it has a bunch of legs that look spider like, more then eight legs for sure. It doesn't have the normal legs a catepillar would. It looks kind of like a hairy house centepede but I don't know for sure. They can really move fast. On either ends they have longer protrusions of either antennae or just hair. Anyone have any idea?
4 AnswersZoology1 decade agoGiving a reason for a negative rating?
Anyone else think it'd be nice if we could give a reason for rating a person's answer as a negative? Maybe we could learn a little more if we know why the answer was a "bad answer"? Or we could avoid having people go through the sections rating a bunch as negative just because they have too much time on their hands...Just a thought.
