For the longest I've had trouble with dating. It seems like every girl I talk to shows interest then flakes and I'm confused as hell. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or maybe I just so happen to run into women that aren't that interested. I'm borderline ready to go mgtow because of the time I've wasted getting flaked on or stood up. It's almost a predictable cycle. It's like everytime I meet a girl Irl or online and chat for a little bit then 1 of 5 things happens:

A.I ask her out, she enthusiastically agrees then I set a DEFINITE date.then either 1 of 3 things happens I get a call at the last minute or at 3am (ironically it's always the sametime) the day of the date and get told that they can't make it

B. I show up to the place at the time we agreed on and she doesn't show or answer her phone.

C. If I ask her out digitally, she either wants to just talk for hours, but never meet up.

D. I get the run around. (They change the subject make up excuses why they can't meet up, but hey. We can chat for hours about mundane topics).

E. They go Ghost after I reply their 1st message.

I'm not saying or doing anything that would turn off someone and I always set clear and definite times and places to meet up.

Should I just take the L on dating and just focus on my grind? Between school, exercise, work, and trying to better myself. my time is to scarce to set aside time to not have tangible results.

If you have any advice, help me out. Hopefully this could help other people out as well

I'm very spritual and I like to incorporate that with my art. Unfortunately I don't have a plug for boomers. so I have to use the next best thing weed. Not to mention it's less risky because weed is legal where I live.

How many grams do I need to ingest or smoke to kill my ego?

Just a quick back story... I'm a 22 year old art student. Earlier this year I moved out of state for school and had the best time of my life. I made lots of friends, lost my V-card, became a stoner, improved on my art significantly and everything seemed great. well it turned out that that school is set to close down next year so I needed to find another place to further my education. I went back home over the summer and found a new art school in California to go to and spent my time prepared to transfer here.

Upon arriving here, everything seemed to go well, but as the weeks went on, I realized that I didn't have much of a social life and tried to become more social among my peers to create bonds, but had no luck. I began to smoke weed more frequently to compensate for the lack of human interaction. I decided to stop spending money on weed until I solve this problem.

In the past, regular meditation helped me overcome depression, but it doesn't seem to be working for me right now. How can I overcome this obstacle? I don't want to become depressed again.

Some crazy **** happened to me yesterday. There was a school orientation dance party today and I decided to get down and bust a move. There was this cute girl that loved my moves and we started grinding on each other. After the dance, she asked me to walk her home because we lived in the same residential dorms. While we were walking, I decide to take a hit of my pen. She tells me that she is a stoner so I let her take a few hits. Shortly after, she begins to talk sexually to me and tell me how Geminis (her sign) are sexual. I take it as a sign of interest and begin to flirt back with her. A few blocks later, she tells me that the route we’re taking doesn’t look familiar to her, then she accuses me of wanting to bring her to a dark alley kill her. I figured that she was being factious, so I tell her that this is the right route and I show her the GPS on my phone. A few minutes later, she accuses me so I tell her that I’m not a murder, and if I did bring her to an alley, it’ll be to make out; to defuse the situation, while being charming. She tells me that she won’t believe me until we’re in the building so I tell her to GPS it herself if she doesn’t trust me. As soon as we arrived to the dorms, she becomes as silent as a mouse. She then follows me to my dorm then tells me that she’ll be back in 30 minutes. Assessing the situation, I tell her that I’m too tired, lets just do it another time. Should I wait until she sobers up and try again or should I just take her off the menu?

Me and 2 of my buddies are planning to get an apartment in California, but we're having some trouble finding one that meets our needs. 1 of them doesn't plan on going to school so he's indifference, the other one is going to do part time while I plan on doing full time. She found an affordable place, but it's an hour away from my school and 2 hours from hers. She doesn't mind driving because she will only take 1 class each semester, while I mind the driving because I already have less time on my end to work to pay my fraction and I will be taking 4-5 classes this semester (class 4 days out of the week). One thing I want to avoid is not being able to carry my weight.

BACKSTORY: there's this girl at my school that I asked out on a date about a week and a half ago. Her schdule was up in the air so I told her to contact me when she's free.

So fast forward to today, I just recently got a job on campus and I meet her in my office as we trade shifts. She sends me a text saying.

"Can you log out of my email foe me pleaze" and I reply

"I only accept pretty pleases with cherries on top, but I'll make an exception this once"

She then says "Lol gross. Thank you"

I like dirty jokes as much as the next guy, but I don't understand how it could be interpreted as dirty

Recently I've been accepted to the university of art & design and I'm excited about moving out of state at the beginning of next year. This gives me a chance to make new friends, experience new things and meet cute girls. Fortunately it's an 8 hour drive away so I'll have mobility.

What are some fun things that I can do while in santa fe, NM? where are the hotspots at? what places should I go to that'll inspire me as an artist?

I have a 5 year old chihuahua mixed Terrier that now has a 2 year old doberman roomate (lack of a better way to explain things). during their first meeting,they did not get along. So today I took the time out to let them get used to eachother and so far they have not gotten into a fight. I even took them out for a walk together and they did pretty well... Now my concern from what I've observed is that the doberman is too playful and would nip at my dog, while my dog, the chihuahua mixed likes to relax and would scald the doberman for doing so.

To avoid any confrontation, I put the doberman on his leash for the time being while letting my dog roam free so that he'll have his space as well as the option to interact.

would it be okay to let the doberman off the leash when I'm gone or should I give it more time. I know that all he wants to do is play, but I'll hate for things to escalate into an all out fight.

i'm 21 and one of my biggest challenges is getting into a relationship. whenever i talk to a girl and end up getting her number, the immediate moment i text her, i end up getting ignored. this perplexes me and even to this day, i still dom't understand why someone would do that instead of saying "no"... i see and hear about guys all the time that get girls numbers and the girls follow up texting them, but why doesn't it work for me. i'm a fairly attractive guy, i have things going for myself (career goals, i workout, i practice martial arts, i draw, i love my job)... overtime I've developed insecurities about myself trying to justify their actions (maybe i'm not that attractive, maybe women just don't like me). as a method of protecting my feelings i would conclude that all women are the same and I should give up on them forever because i'm wasting my time... it wasn't until yesterday that i realized that trying to ignore women it's going to help me in the long run. i need to resolve these emotions and learn how to overcome this so that when i do find a girl that is interested, i won't ruin the relationship. but the first step is trying to believe in myself.

I have one more semester left before i graduate community college with an associates in computer animation. in order to earn my bachelors, i need to enroll in a school out of state. so far one school in particular has caught my interest, i'm still doing research on it (waiting for the office to open up to call) , but if my credits are able to transfer then i'll be able to enroll without having to redo gen eds. To top things off the job i work at has a building two mins away from campus so if i can transfer to that location then i'll have a job. the only part i'm really concerned about is being able to pay off tuition, and other expenses. if there is anything else i need to consider then i would appreciate any additional advice.

I hope one day to become a storyboard artist one day and make my own series.

I'm shopping for new laptops to buy and one that came across my mind was the Surface Pro 3, I have two options when buying it. I can get the 128 GB refurbished for a $300 or I can spent an extra $200 and buy it new with a warranty. I'm uncertain on which one to get, because the $300 doesn't have a warranty option for it, but o also feel as if I'm not going to do anything to really mess it up.

I really just want photoshop and animate(flash), I really don't care for the other programs.

There's this girl that recently joined my dance class that I'm interested in. I would like to get to know her better as a friend and if we're compatible, take the relationship up a step... the issue that I have with girls is that whenever I ask them for their number, facebook, etc. I just get ignored the moment I send them a message and that becomes the end of the story.How long should I wait to get to know her before i ask for her number? Btw, her friend (who's a guy) introduced her to me. I'm not sure if he might influence her decision by being around her if I ask. I know that they're not in a relationship because he's gay. So i don't have to worry about him too much.

There's this girl who recently joined my Zumba class the other day, and I'm interested in getting to know her. I mainly talk to her friend during the course of the class (just for the sake of making friends) who introduced me to her, so we're acquainted already. I want to ask her for her number, but I fear that she might end up being like other girls and just ignore me shortly after I text them. Not to mention her friend is there and him being around while I'm talking to her might influence her decision or might be awkward for her. I don't want to screw this up. Btw her friend is gay so I don't have to worry about him being her boyfriend.

Lately I've been taking Zumba classes because I'm interested in dancing and last week there was this attractive girl who appears to be my age or slightly older (idk for sure yet) that I'm interested in getting to know. I was mainly talking to her friend who introduced me to her. Sh3 seemed to have a fun personality and I would like to become friends with her and maybe one day turn it into something more... the problem that I have with situations like these is that I don't know when is the proper time to ask her for her contact info, because in the past whenever I asked a girl for facebook, snapchat, or number, they just end up ignoring me and I'd hate to screw this one up.... is there any advice that you can give me to help me out? Bte her friend is a guy and he comes off as a little feminine, I'm not sure how if he's gay or that's just his personality. Either way, he's pretty cool.

I'm 21 and my dad's 68. I'm currently enroll in a community college and about to receive my associates degree next semester before transferring to a 4 year for my bachelors. My dad thinks that I'm slacking because he had his bachelor at my age and goes to say that because he doesn't see me do my homework around him that I'm not putting any effort in school. I've explained to him many times that because my major is computer animation and we don't have the available programs for me to do my work that I need to finish it at school which I usually devote 3-6 hours to perfecting my work. I alsoexplained that because I had to take a few remedial classes because of my AC T scores that that kind of set me back, but I've tried to take as many classes as possible whole still being able to work and practice mytalent and after obtaining my bachelors I'm going to move to japan to teacg english and eventually work for a company to become a storyboard artist

I'm an animation major and wish to become a storyboard artist oneday and by being able to sell it to others online I'll be able to make a little extra money while improving my artistic abilities.
