  • How to reach an octave for Piano?

Hi, I have very small hands, in fact they are so small they barely grew since kindergarten...I am 20 now. I cannot reach octaves, I can only reach seven keys and that's even a stretch. I was wondering if anyone has an idea to make it easier for me to reach an octave. I looked up some questions about this but some people suggested I avoid octaves but the music doesn't sound right. I looked up that you can jump quickly. The music I am playing requires me hitting octaves consecutively so when I am jumping it sounds like I am hitting many notes when it's suppose to be consecutive. Is there any suggestions. I know it's difficult to play instruments with small hands but I don't want to stop playing the piano. Please don't suggest me things like avoid the octaves or try to tell me its impossible. Thank you very much!

Plus I COMPLETELY don't understand what layer is or what it does. I don't understand how to use bucket because it just covers the whole picture. Doesn't stay within the boundary. I'm trying to have the bucket outline my picture not cover it. THIS IS SO F****CKING STRESSSFULLLLL! And its suppose easy. I've been working on it for two hours and TEN HOURS the other day and gotten no where. I spent 3 hours looking it up on youtue and google and IDK what the hell they're talking about. • Is my cat trying to get attention?

I have this really annoying cat that is forced to sleep in my room with my two golden retrievers. When I am doing homework or trying to sleep that cat knocks down everything, he learned how to open my closet and climbs on the clothes, and he attacks me when I pick him up but then licks me after my flesh is ripped off of me. Then he meows and runs around while I'm trying to sleep audit sounds like a stampede in my room. when I wake up after two hours of trying to sleep and yelling at him, stuff is knocked over or out of place. However when I am at school and then I return, my room is perfectly normal. I am a clean freak so I know if something is out of p,ace. Why would this cat make such a ruckus when I am around.

Then he bullies the other two dogs, catch their face, steal their toy, and pounce on them. It's like all he wants is attention and it's really annoying because I'm usually yelling at him. Does this cat want attention.

  • Why do my dog come to me?

When I get mad my dog always comes to me. She never runs away and she wags her tail when I yell at her. Why does she do that? Wouldn't she be afraid? My other dog lays down when I get angry. He also comes to me when I yell. I find tht weird

  • Hello would someone mind proofreading?

This is for my intro to ed class. My teacher is grading on grammer and I am horrible with grammer. May some one be kind to proofread if you have the time. I would love it. Thank you very much. It's a bit long, so I am very sorry, but thank you if you do proofread.

An extrinsic reward that motivates me to become a teacher is power. I am not saying that I want to be powerful or I love controlling people, but I am saying that I want to use my power as a teacher to help children, teenagers, and young adults. Many people mistakenly think that teachers use their powers in order to beat students, ruin their day, or to be controlling and strict. However if a teacher has a power to do all that, they would have the power to do the opposite of that, too. That is my goal, to use my “power” to get them on the right path as students. I have learned from personal experience that an over controlling teacher is less likely to get respect from me and any other students, sending the student on a wrong path to rebellion. However, exactly opposite, I have had teachers who were not overly strict, but still acted like a teacher. They were not lenient but they gained our respect because they respected us. This made us more focused, participate more, and learn more. They did not see us as little brats that need to be taught a lesson but potential students for the growing future. Because of that, students respect her and felt obliged to work harder. That is the kind of power I want: the power to inspire someone.

An intrinsic reward that motivated me to become a teacher is the students. Although I want to be a high school teacher where many students take teachers for granted, I want to see their progress. In the Intro to Education textbook, it stated how watching them progress from the beginning to the end of the year is an amazing feeling for many teachers; I believe I am one of them. A personal experience I have is training my dogs. I have a very smart dog that understands and learns commands and tricks extremely fast. Then I have a dog that is very slow in comprehending new tricks. I need a lot more patience for the slower dog. However in the end, when both dogs have finally learned the tricks, I am so happy and proud of them and I am shocked with myself that I accomplished this task. Of course training dogs and teaching teenagers are completely different; however, the feeling of accomplishment is similar. Working with teenagers is a lot harder than training dogs, and when the task is much harder, the happier and prouder I’ll feel when I have seen progress or accomplished my goal in teaching my students. That feeling is an extremely exciting feeling.

  • Avoiding flea infestation?

bout 6-7 months ago i had a MAJOR flea infestation, my legs are still badly and noticeably scarred from it and my parents will not do much for it because the fleas don't get them as nearly as they get me. And they get me big time.

Spring is coming and probably really early since there was not much of a winter this year so I just want ways to prevent fleas before deja vu hits all over again. Thank you :)

  • I put frontline on when my dogs were wet?

They weren't drenching wait, i made them shake a couple times and wipe down most water with a towel but i put frontline on while my dogs are wet and we have a major flea problem. Will Frontline still work or will it not. Unfortunately if it doesn't work now my parents will not buy more frontline and it was hard enough to convince them because of the expensive price. So will it work.

  • Extreme flea problems please help?

My legs are both chewed up pretty bad by these things. We tried, adams, biospot, tri-force, flea collars and ect. The fleas are just getting worse. The worst part is every inch of the dogs fur you see there are tons of black things (flea eggs I think) on them and that's so disgusitng not to mention tons of fleas you see running away. Im so paranoid bringing these things to school or having flea eggs on me myself. I'm scared to be in my own house and room and to sit on furnitures. Its that bad. I walk into my room and i feel and see like five to more fleas on my legs at a time and i try to grab them and put them in fire or water source where they die.

My friends and teachers and people look at my legs and find it disgusting with it being chewed. I'm losing my sanity with these fleas, Mom says she's going to call a exterminator this weekend but i'm so scared of my own house now i just don't feel comfortable. And knowing my mom she probably won't til like next month bc she always wait til the last second. I love my dogs so much but i can't stand to be around them and having them touch me and touching them i'm so scared. I kicked my dogs out of my room and they were sleeping in front of my door the whole night. Please help me with the flea problems. It hurts to ignore my dogs and having to itch my legs twenty-four seven. I desperately need help and please if your offer me something that cost money can you make sure it works so we don't have to waste money. We literally wasted at least hundreds of money trying to get rid of the fleas. And my sister whose a cat lover was crying cause she had to kick her cats out of her room and outside and they beg to come in but the fleas are just SOOO bad. PLEASE MY family and I are in desperate need of help

  • LOUD noises, Help please?

I am trying to take my dogs to a therapist training so ya know they can become therapy dog. I have a Black retriever and a Golden Retriever and they are both afraid of loud noises which is one of the test on the therapy training. However I'm fine with Rosie (Black Retriever) because as long as she's around with me she'll just sit and relax and laid back but Rufus the Golden Retriever, will panick and run around.

How do I make them get use to loud noise by myself, my family will not help me, they don't care much for the dogs.

P.S. they pass everything else when it comes to the therapy training and even passed the CGC test (Rufus almost failed though with the distraction/loud noise part) but for some odd reason was laid back about it on that day. However I want to make sure both my dogs are use to loud noises and don't have to rely on me for comfort when there are loud noises and to take no risks if he and she will be laid back or not.
