Can you believe in one but not the other? or are they a package if you believe in one then you must believe in the other to complete the puzzle?

I am currently living in London and i would like to study at the american university of Beirut next year.

I was wandering if it would be hard for me to enter since i dont live in lebanon and i also have different qualifications.

I was born in Lebanon so living there wont be a problem in terms of visa and so on.

So is it hard to enter and would the transition be hard to handle, im a girl btw ;)

i need this for my english essay tomorrow and i am really stuck. Help me pleases :))

i have been thinking, why can we not create life.With all the new technology we should surely in the future be able to progress further and move onto the stage where we create life.

But then would you not say that in order for a human being to have life they need a soul, i mean surely a body can be created like frankenstein did for instance, but then it would be a body with no life or no soul in other words.

would this then mean that scientists have not been able to create life or stop death because they have no power over it, because there is something greater than us humans.

then the only person able to give life is God.

its all so confusing to me and complicated, i feel like my mind cannot handle such thoughts, i feel like it transcends my thinking ability and my brain capacity.

sorry for such a ramble but its is out of curiosity and interest.I thought i should share my thoughts and maybe see my thoughts in some else's perspective.

me and my friend had this argument, because she said that europeans cannot be terrorists but can only be mafias and that people living in Asia can only be terrorists.

and i said that she was wrong because if an english person perfomed a terrorist act they would be considered terrorists.

Also i said that the definiton of terrorism was not : Arabs who bomb people or afghans who bomb people or any person who bombs people but comes from asia.

i said that,that was wrong.

but she insisted and then said that she asked the history teacher and he said the same thing as her.

so because of this i am now confused, Any Ideas????

if a Theist gives their opinion on something say they said 'God does exist' the person would end up getting 10 thumbs down and out of the other 5% theists he would get 1 thumbs up.

Ok basically i love this guy his name is mo and i met him when i was 15 on holiday in my country.

one day we were sitting down and he says i miss the days we were sittting on the balcony and then i reply, i dont you were the only person there i could sit with, i was trying to play hard to get, this happened when i was 17 by the way. this sentence that i said resulted in him distancing himself from me and since then hes the one playing hard to get.

so what do you guys think, does he like me or not.
