It was cheaper for me to buy the instructor's edition, but I do hope to be able to sell them back if I don't want them at the end of the semester anymore!

Here are the facts I have:

We recently had a new modem (2WIRE) and NETGEAR router installed.

My laptop is a Toshiba.

It disconnects every few minutes or less now.

It worked fine before the new modem was installed.

My cousin's laptop and my iTouch connects to the wi-fi perfectly.

I already tried turning off the modem and router and plugging them back in, but it doesn't work.

When my aunt came here to see what was going on, it didn't disconnect from the internet at all. She probably thought I was just being stupid for not knowing how to connect it to the wi-fi. But after she left, the wi-fi began to disconnect and connect again. Even as I am typing this, it is still doing it. And if I call my aunt to tell her this, she would not believe me.

Wow, I am so irritated right now. So please help!

Philosophers and others! I really need help with this question. Like how do people know that when they are judging something or someone they are right? For an example, for beauty pageants or for quality of someone's essay?

This recent Saturday, I was using my Toshiba laptop as usual and it was working efficiently as always. However, when I turned it on Sunday, there was a black screen with just a blue box in the middle saying "Enter Password". I researched it up and supposedly it's called a BIOS password.

This laptop is second-handed and was given to me by my aunt. I asked my aunt about it and she says she has never set a password for anything. She says I probably pressed something or I had let a virus come through. I don't remember doing anything wrong though!

So I am asking, What is this so-called password supposed to do? And how could it have possibly came up all of a sudden on my laptop? Is it possible to reset it without restoring the computer itself (I have a lot of files on there)?

I am so furious and depressed about all of this. ): So please help answer, and I thank each response!

Gamestop employees answering this would be most appreciated!

And do you guys possibly know where I can sell it in the Bay Area?

I DO NOT want any more excessive scratches or the Apple info rubbing off whatsoever.

I only had my itouch for a month or so, but somehow it got a whole bunch of scratches already!

I am unable to get a case as of now, but I will get one as soon as possible.

However, even if there is a case already on it, just knowing that I have a whole bunch of scratches on the chrome back makes me feel terrible.

If any one knows if the Apple store can help with this, feel free to leave a comment on it!

I was charging my new itouch, the plug on the top right battery showed up, but the big battery in the middle is not fully green; It's was either 30-50% full!

So I reset the itouch and plugged it back in, now it's around 80% with a lightning bolt.

Is that a problem & should I go back to the Apple store ?

So, I recently bought an itouch and uploaded all my songs into it.

1. When I play my music, only one cover shows up (which is the song playing) in landscape/horizontal view. I want to be able to see all my covers and browse through them (cover flow?! ), but it doesn't seem to show. How would I fix/do this?

*Also, i am positively sure that all the covers are attached to the songs. I did them manually! So, don't ask about that.

2. How do i view ALL the songs as a list in landscape and horizontal view when playing music? Mine only shows the artist's songs only when i tap the screen. ): ...........Unless that's the way it's supposed to be...o___o ?

3. Lots of people online have been saying to charge the itouch for hours after first getting it. I only charged it on my computer til it was fully charged (that was what? around an hour or so?) and then disconnected it. Will this cause a problem for the battery now?

I would gladly appreciate help from experienced itouch users!

I was using my other computer just fine today until it lagged and then shut down on me. When I turned it back on, it said "disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter". It also worked a few days ago perfectly. I have not installed any new programs or anything either. I do not have the system disk or whatever because the computer is kind of like a hand me down from my aunt.

What is the problem? ):

And how do I fix it?

PS- I cannot go tell my mother and aunt about this because they WILL think I "f/cked something up" in the computer, even though I barely use it. Then comes the multiple fights and arguments.
