okay ..i have no idea why this just popped in my head but .. when i was kid ..in the 70's there was a comic book that used to have tons of smaller comics in it ... the one im trying to remember the name of was about these beverly hillbilly types ..they always wanted to get rid of their money and every time they made more money they always kept getting richer ... I rememeber the book came out of britan but we got it in aussie .. does anybody remember the name of the comic and do they know of anywhere on the internet that has copies of it ? .. thanks in advance

okay heres the question.. I grew up in Australia .. and the way we were taught ( many years ago) was that Australia is not the smallest continent it is the largest island .. We were told that it was considered ( under aussie standards) that there are 6 continents .. I am well aware that there are 7 but my question is why were always told this and is this still being taught in school today in aussie ( i now live in the USA ) ... this isnt something that was my school it was something that people of my generation was taught ... why ??

I just watched the story on CNN about the woman who thinks she did nothing wrong for tattooing her kids aged 10 threw 17 ... I think shes freaking nuts .. I have a full sleeve on my left arm and a small tattoo on my right arm ..I am not against tattoos but this I think she needs thrown in jail ..what do you think ?

I am after info about the diffences if between the olds 350 blocks and the 455 ..I dont care about bore or stroke etc ..i want to use use a 350 for a mock up for a hot rod the 455 will come later ..is the motor mount positions oil pump etc in the same place with a 350 as it is in a 455 ..i know the gasket sets are similar ..

okay this has had me thinking all day... In the old cowboy movies a horse would come up "lame" and im thinking it was always the bad guy would shoot his horse ..so my question is .. WHY ?? .. isn't it just a stone or a pebble that got caught in the hoof and then wouldn't simply removing the stone and letting the horses hoof regrow eventually and then the horse be fine ? so why then destroy a horse for a temporary problem ? anybody know the reason behind this ?
