I know in most states if you win a car you would have to pay something like 1/3 the price of it, but I've heard that there is no law saying this in Oregon. Is this true?

Recently my hair has felt weird, it's been oily and gummy feeling, even right after I take a shower. It has never been this way before. Do I have hair product build up? If so, how can I cleanse it of build up?

I got a pair of hollister jeans that are a little too big, and I wanted to wash them in hot water and dry them in hot heat, but I heard that makes the color fade. I got a really dark wash, and it would look bad if it faded. I can't exchange them, and if I get a smaller size they'd be too tight. I just want them to shrink a tiny bit, not a lot. How can I do that, if they even do shrink. Thanks c:

I have really thin hair, and I love the look of thick hair. I've been wanting to get a certain hairstyle, but I feel like it only looks good with thicker hair. Should I get extensions, are there any products that thicken hair, ANYTHING?

Okaay so I'm in 8th grade and next year I'm going to try out for the freshman volleyball team. I have some experience: In 4th and 5th grade I went to volleyball camps, and every year in PE we do a unit on it. How can I get fit for it and ready? I'm not very fit.. But I know the drills and such, like serving, bumping or whatever, but I don't know how to spike it. Or whatever that's called. How can I get ready for that?

In my city they don't have a volleyball team for my age, just in high school. They do have camps though, which I plan to go to this summer.

I have to do 40 hours of community service (In Oregon) , and i'm only 13 so i can't do it at a lot of places, since most you have to be 16 and up. I know I can do it at the library, and school, but what else? I love working with little kids and babies. I'm smart so i could probably tutor or something. I LOVE working with animals. Everything i find has to be 16 or 18 and up though! Help? Thankss

So, this is a serious question. Im pretty shy, and it gets in the way of making friends and such. And i try not to be, i try so hard, but i just cant. I dont know why, i guess i just care too much about what other people think and dont have that much "confidence." How can i make new friends in the middle of my 8th grade school year when everyone already is in their cliques and its hard for me to start talking to people?? Once i get to know them I'm not, if people approach me and actually talk to me I'll talk to them too, that just never happens. I just cant start a conversation. I'm in 8th grade, and my best friend just moved to a different school, which always happens. But i've always had at least one best friend left, and now I dont. I have a lot of friends, just not close enough to hang out with after school or sit with at lunch. i mean, I have a lot of best friends, they just either live in different states or go to different schools. I feel like a loner, and sometimes I hide in the bathroom during lunch. I think its just that i've gone to school with the same people my entire life, and I know what they think of me.. And i know who the "popular" people are and who will ruin you and all of that. I just want to start over. I feel like if i can start over, at a new school, in a new city, then I can be different. that I can meet friends easier - everybody talks to the new girl right? When i meet new people im not shy, its just around people i've known my entire life, that have built up that assumption of me. I just can't wait until high school - i've heard that you meet a lot of new people and you don't see alot of the old people from your middle school and your friends change and all that. It's not as difficult if people actually come up to me and start talking to me. And please don't put stupid answers like "Talk to people" Like helpp me overcome my self-confidence issues and shyness and such. Oh and is there a class or something you can do that helps you overcome confidence and shyness issues? <3Thanks!

So; Im in 8th grade, 13 years old, and I want to start gymnastics. I honestly have no past with it, I've only played sports like basketball and soccer and volleyball. All i know is a cartweel and a flip on a trampoline lol. But i pick up on things pretty fast. My family is all saying that im too old to start doing it, and im too tall, but im only 5'2. I've been really wanting to try it out. I think I can do it. Is it too late?

I like books by Nicholas Sparks (A walk to Remember, The Last Song, etc.) and romance books like that, I don't mind if it has sex in it either. I also like fiction books like the Twilight series and i love scary books (just not too scary, my mom doesn't approve of super duper scary horror books or vampire books. She lets me read them, she just hates them, and i dont really want my mom to think im reading horror vampire books) I pretty much like every type of book except biographies and nonfiction stuff. Im bored to death a lot and i really want to find a good book to read. Also, I don't really want it to be short, i want to spend a lot of time reading it. Sorry if I'm a little picky and thanks a lot =D

I installed this game called Second Life to my computer, and then I tried to open it and play it, buy i got a message that said "SecondLife is unable to run because your video card drivers did not install properly, are out of date, or are for unsupported hardware. Please make sure you have the latest video card drivers, and even if you do have the latest, try reinstalling them." I really dont know what to do now, and I really want to play Second Life. Help?
