  • why do all blushers look the same on my cheeks?

I have indian medium brown skin. Very recently I have started using blusher as part of my makeup. I have tried the following blushers: Bourjois Lilas d'or, MaxFactor Chestnut, Rimmel blush and highlighter SummerFever and then there are some blushers from a local shop here that I have tried. However, no matter which blusher I use on my cheeks they all end up looking golden brown. It looks really nice and my face gets a glow when I use a blush, but maybe I am doing something wrong.. why do they all look the same?

  • How to create a nude eye look?

Hi, I have dark skin (Maybelline FitMe Foundation number 315) and I have really dark eyelids. If I apply any light eyeshadow it looks grey on my lids. Yes, I have tried it with a primer/foundation/concealer underneath. My question is how to create a soft nude eye look. What shades of eyeshadow can I use that give me just the little bit of sparkle to my eyes.

  • Mascara Smudges under my eyes?

So, I have 3 mascaras, Rimmel Scandal Eyes Show Off, Collistar Infinito and Loreal Volume Million Lashes. While Rimmel is my favorite every day mascara, its quick to apply but it tends to flake and smudge under my eyes within a couple of hours. The other two are more liquid so they do not smudge but tend to clump my lashes together and I have to use a lash comb while using them. Anyone out there experienced this and any solutions for this issue?

  • I broke my tibia on Jan 31 2012?

Was hit by a car while I was riding my bike. The break was quite bad in the mid of the bone and they had to operate and put a pin inside and secure it with 4 screws. 6 weeks later I had an x-ray and it appeared that the bone was still broken. Not joined at all!!! the alignment was fine though. I am not sure why this happened. I am doing physio, and the therapist says that I was just unlucky the bone did not join. Does anyone have the same experience?

  • My 13 month old does not want to drink, he just likes to eat?

So, up until 2 weeks ago, he used to drink around 3-4 bottles (120 ml) a day of formula and apart from that, he had his solid food (Rice, cereals, bread, fruits etc.). He also got water or juice with his meals. But now, he only likes to eat his solid food, and throws away the bottle or cup even without putting it in his mouth. He drinks one bottle during the night though. I am real worried, and dont know whether this is a permanent change or will he go back to normal. Anyone else faced this problem at this age of their baby

  • one year old cries at the day care?

We have just moved to The Netherlands from India. It has been less than a week. After coming here I have started to drop my 1 year old at a day care center. But he does not like it at all there. He cries the whole day. I have checked the center myself and there is nothing wrong with it or the teachers working there. While in India, he was not going to a day care center but a babysitter was taking care of him at my home. He used to like that a lot. He never has had any problems separating from me untill now. I cannot understand how to manage this situation. It just breaks my heart everytime the teachers at the daycare tell me that he has been crying the whole day. I don't know what to do :(.

  • My baby still does not roll over on his back?

Hi, my son is now 6 months old and still does not roll over. He keeps trying... I see that but there are no results. I also know other babies who used to sit without support when they were 6 months old, but this guy only sits if someone is supporting his back. Is this something to worry about or is it normal? Anyone else experience this?

  • Another question about breastfeeding?

Hi, I am breastfeeding plus formula feeding my 3 month old. While breastfeeding I have noticed that he does not like to feed from my left breast. Somehow he is very very irritated on that side and as soon as I move him to the other breast he calms down and keeps sucking. Has anyone else experienced this? I need some advise on how to make him suck the other breast too.

  • Breastfeeding question?

Hi, I am breastfeeding my 3 month old baby. People say that the baby should be allowed to suckle on the breast till they let it go themselves. They will do this when they are satisfied. I tried this with my baby and he kept suckling for 2 hours at a stretch when I had to pull him away. He was still crying (not satisfied). Since then I allow him for 10 minutes on each side and then just pull him away. Has anyone else experienced this? On an average how long does a baby take to fill his tummy?

  • breastfeeding hurts .....?

I was not breastfeeding my baby for sometime because it used to hurt a lot. I was pumping the milk and giving it to him in a bottle. However, I decided to again give it a go. Now, my nipples don't hurt but the areola where he suckles hurts like anything. It keeps hurting at least for an hour after he has finished feeding. And because of this hurting I am able to feed him only for 10 minutes on each breast at a time. Anyone else faced this and how long does this pain last?
