  • Where can I find hybrid corn/flour tortillas?

I saw these at a grocery store a couple weeks ago but haven't seen them since. They were a wonderful hybrid of corn and flour tortillas; the sturdy, nice texture of flour with the good flavor of corn. Are these common and I'm just missing them? It's very hard to Google these; does anyone know of any common brands / stores (even online) where I can buy these?

  • Regarding "chimeras" in the fossil record?

First of all, please breathe a sigh of relief. This is not a pathetic attempt to get a homework question answered, reflecting an increasingly sad state of scientific illiteracy in the modern world.

My question is this: Are there any examples in the fossil record of animal A branching into animals B and C, where B has new traits that A doesn't have, and C has new traits that A doesn't have, and there exists some animal D that has traits of both B and C?

Sorry about the confusing phrasing. In general I'm asking if any chimera exists, but to a lesser extent (whatever the criteria is for calling something a true chimera, I don't know). I often hear an argument against evolutionary theory that states that new fossils found are simply inserted into the fossil record wherever they happen to fit best, but I'm looking for the best case against that. I would think that my argument that no true chimeras exist might be the best approach, but I'm sure that biologists have a much better answer.

    Thanks!

  • Has there been any scientific theory which was later proven wrong in favor of a supernatural explanation?

My fingers would get sore typing out all of the examples of scientific theories which have overturned supernatural explanations; but surely, if religious beliefs are as sound as so many claim them to be, there will be plenty of examples of scientific theories in the past which have been overturned by religious faith-based explanations.

  • I can't access my website without "www" in front. How can I edit my godaddy.com settings to allow...?

... people to access my site by simply typing: mydomain.com.

Currently, if I enter mydomain.com in a web browser, I get a typical 404-type error. It works fine if I enter www.mydomain.com. How can I allow "mydomain.com" to default to viewing the web site?

  • How can sharks smell food from "miles away"?

I often hear that sharks can sense food in the water from miles away, but doesn't this imply that particles from the food have traveled for miles in order for the shark to be able to detect them?
