Bush doubled it by adding around 5 trillion to the debt. He left office with a debt of close to 11 trillion.

Since the debt is now at 12.3 billion that means that a little over a trillion has been added under Obama.

If you subtract Bush's 787 billion dollar TARP bill that brings Obama's contribution to national debt at about 500 billion.

Let me correct my language the bill did not pass in Senate it has gone to cloture, which basically means it will pass. I am sorry, I try to make my questions simpler for those of YA to better understand.

While the Democratic representatives are making compromises and getting financial benefits for their constituents the Republicans are doing nothing but trying to stall a bill that everyone knows is gonna pass. You think once the bill has past and Republican constituents realized they have nothing to show will they revolt and vote the party of NO out in 2010?

that when they post questions referring to global warming being a hoax and using record snows this year to back up their views they are actually backing up the climate change claims. Record snows can be a result of climate change/global warming. Maybe they just don't understand this science stuff.
