  • How can we know that God is perfect?

Is it just because the Bible says so or has God ever revealed to someone in history what perfection is?

  • Do you believe that a human Blastocyst has a soul?

About 5 days after the female egg is fertilized a collection of 70-100 cells (called a blastocyst) is formed which have the potential to become a human under normal conditions. This collection of cells is undifferentiated meaning that it has the potential to become a single baby (boy or girl), identical twins, fraternal twins, conjoined twins, etc.

If the soul enters at conception, then where are the souls for two of three identical triplets who were once ONE blastocyst? If the soul does not enter until the cells actually divide then is using birth control or the Plan B pill OK since there is no soul at the point? Lastly, what about conjoined twins who were once one blastocyst but their cells never completely divide, do they share one soul that was provided at conception?

  • From a strictly objective POV, how did you determine that God is good?

People often say that God gives humans the morality to know right from wrong, but if one were to take an HONEST, objective look at the issue, it would be apparent that recognizing right and wrong/good and evil has to be beyond a God or else how could one even make the determination that their god is good and the It (as opposed to Satan) would be the correct one to worship and follow.

If God determines - X is good or Y is evil and this is your sole compass, then what stops rape from being OK with you if God detemines X = rape.

  • What happens to us at the atomic level when our bodies die?

If it is true that our bodies are composed 100% of atoms (along with everything else) and atoms themselves never lose their energy or die out, then can it be the case that no one ever really dies, but we just get "reconfigured" into a different atomic/molecular structure once we die?

  • What is Free Will and why do you believe its a gift from God?

I often hear people say that God didn't want us to be robots so he gave us free will, but is free will really what you think it is? Consider this:

If a man was locked tight in a 10 foot by 10 foot box - does he have free will?

If a man was locked tight in a 10,000,000 foot by 10,000,000 foot box - does he now have free will?

The only difference is the perception of freedom.

True free will and the omni-characteristics of God are mutually exclusive. Although God did not tell Adam and Eve "go eat the fruit from the forbidden", so to speak. In his omnipresence he was there to "see" what was happening, in his omniscience he had the foresight to know what events could occur that would cause them to eventually eat from the tree, and in his omnipotence he had the power to make those events occur or not occur.

Specifically, God had the "omni's" to place the forbidden tree on the other side of the Earth, remove Adam and Eve's desire to eat that specific fruit, place the serpent anywhere else on the planet, etc. But the events were put in place just as God planned and set in place. So if things occured just as God knew would happen yet had the power to change but decided not to, where was the freedom to change it?

  • The purpose of distant stars according to the Bible?

In the Bible at Genesis 1:14-16, the passage reads as follows:

"And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also"

My question is that if the stars are for signs, seasons, days, and years then why are there stars thousands of light years away that are ONLY visible with a high powered space telescope. What is the purpose of those stars to us here on Earth as they provide no light (cannot even be seen) and therefore no signs for seasons, days or years?

  • When you asked God to reveal Himself to you, how...?

When you asked God to reveal Himself to you, how did you do it. What was your process such as your words used, prayer stance, location, can other people be around. How did you know that it was God and not you imagination or conscience or Satan speaking to you?

  • Please enlighten me about Noah's Ark and sin?

In short, EVERY man, woman, child, and baby were sinful except Noah and his immediate family members (the statistical probability of that happening is another topic). God decided the earth should be cleansed of all sin so He forewarned Noah to build the Ark and pack up the animals.

The Earth was washed and put through the spin cycle. So why is there still sin after this event?

If sin was to continue on Earth through Noah's genes, then why did God not murder him too and start with a clean slate? If Noah was truly sinless, then what did we need Jesus to die for, as we are all effectively descendants of Noah, the sinless one?

Only one of two conclusions can be drawn:

    1. True story and God needed sin to continue somehow on Earth

    2. Just a made up story

  • If Jesus REALLY died for our sins...?

If Jesus REALLY died for our sins, would that be an unconditional pass for all of us to get into Heaven? - Please Read On -

Think of it this way, before Jesus, people had to sacrifice goats, cattle, and sheep and the smell of the blood was enough to please God, right?

After Jesus took it upon Himself to "sacrifice" Himself by going back to Heaven, that required us to believe in all of the far-fetched stories of the Bible and OR ELSE!!!

Wouldn't a TRUE sacrifice be - Jesus saying - " Father God/Self, I'll go to Hell for all eternity so that NO other human has to no matter what. Wouldn't that be a real sacrifice based on the definition of the word?

Remember dying and going back to Heaven forever was a net gain not a net loss for Jesus, and He knew this before he was even born

  • Does the Bible contradict itself about God's direction?

One of the Ten Commandments states: "Thou shalt not kill", however, in the book of Numbers chapter 31, God commands Moses to kill all of the men and women of the Midianite tribe. How can this be reconciled to make any rational sense coming form th same God?

  • Why do the first few verses of the book of Genesis seem as though they weren't inspired by a God?

Consider what we know now, versus what people knew during the biblical days and you may agree that something seems pretty fishy.

Chapter 1, Verse 5 God called the light - Day and the darkness - Night. This only makes sense if you are envisioning creation from a man's perspective, not from God's inspiration. From space there is no day or night, this just depends on where you happen to be located on Earth at any given time. In other words, if you were standing on the moon and looking at Earth, when exactly is it day and when is it night on Earth?

People of that time didnt realize that the Sun is ALWAYS shining light, therefore, its always DAY somewhere, but from their perspective, when the the light was "gone", the day was gone. AND SO IT WAS WRITTEN.

  • Why would God confuse the tongues of mankind when...?

Why would God confuse the tongues of mankind when we, for the most part, have learned to translate one another's language and now the world is "smaller" than ever? Didn't He have foreknowledge that our tongues would not be confused forever?

  • If Faith is required to enter Heaven, where do acquire your faith?

I do understand that faith is belief in the absence of evidence, and the only way to Heaven is through faith, therefore, the only way to get to Heaven is to believe in God without evidence. My question is how do you acquire faith? Its obviously not through any observations of your own or else that would be evidence, hence NO FAITH. So is the key to Heaven to believe something in God because someone else told you to, or to believe because you'd like to believe? Where do you get your faith from that does not require you to see, hear, touch, taste, smell, feel God as that would be evidence?

  • How do you believe something that you dont believe?

Lets just say I didn't believe in God, does that mean that I'm just not meant to believe in God (i.e. meant to go to Heaven)? I also don't believe in Leprechauns and nothing short of seeing one would make me or you believe, even if you threatened to kill me, I couldnt truly believe in them. So how do you force yourself to believe in something that you just don't?

  • If God's Ultimate plan was to have us in Heaven with Him, then..?

If God's ultimate plan was to have us in Heaven with Him for all eternity, then what DO YOU BELIEVE is the purpose of the soul filtering device called Earth? If, in the beginning of time, He wanted us in heaven, why not just "poof"us to Heaven and skip this place called Earth where some of us were allowed to sin and eventually get sent to Hell? (I know someone will say we send ourselves to Hell, but that only strengthens my point)

  • Why is it called Judgement day if ....?

Why is THE day in heaven called Judgement day if the only path to Heaven is through Jesus Christ? Wouldn't that mean that getting into heaven is like getting into a movie theater, either you have your ticket (Jesus) or not, right? If this test IS passed, can we still be not permitted to get in for some other reason?

  • Indian man who hasn't eaten in 70 years, any rational explanations?

What do you think of the Indian man who claims he has not eaten or drank water in 70 years, and has proved in a controlled environment that he has not eaten, drank, or passed waste in 6 days? Could this be a hoax or something more?

  • Why do believe Jesus HAD to die for us?

I understand that Christianity teaches that Jesus was sent to Earth to die for our sins and give us a way into Heaven, but why do you believe God did not simply just forgive humanity instead of requiring someone (Jesus) to die?

Why was there greater benefit in: God sending himself in the form of a human to die and go back to Heaven to reign, than there was in God simply snapping his fingers and saying " All are forgiven"?
