Elle est en train de faire des projets pour une petite vacances a Paris. Elle y resterai pendant 3 jours. Elle est plutot jeune(25 ans) est elle veux rester dans un lieu bien vif mais pas louche. Elle est americaine, comme moi, mais sait parler francais donc ca n'est pas un problem. personally, i find it an insignificant, empty gesture, like wearing an american flag lapel pen. basically, it is a collective plea asking god for blessings. but would god discontinue blessing america if every politician stopped saying it and we stopped singing it during the seventh inning stretch?

i typically vote republican because i am fiscally conservative, which deals with the economy and keeps us secure and self sufficient. but i'm also against things like proposition 8, blue laws and other such nonsense conservatives here in the south try and pass in order to insure you're a good god-fearin' christian.

i'd like to be active in the rep. party here, but every time i meet fellow republicans down here i get jesus fatigue and can't deal with the close mindedness of most of them. and the libertarians, well that's a whole other story.

since he is allegedly omnipresent? on the same note, how does one ''remove'' an omnipresent being from schools, or anywhere for that matter?

as an atheist, i believe everything exists because it does, and i don't pretend to know why or how. however, i've heard many christians tell me that there is no point in existing if this is our only life. so, since non human animals have this one and only chance, what's the point? consider the fact that most animals live in a constant state of kill or be killed and must endure very stressful lives.

now, i understand you will likely explain it away with something about whatever god does is just, or his ways are not our ways, etc. but you've got to admit there are some shady goings on in there. i.e. bear maulings, slaughtering first borns, drowning the whole of humanity, et al.
