I was on Rate My Professor and read from two student reviews that one mandatory assignment in my nutrition class is to have a blood test taken to check our cholesterol levels. Is that allowed? It seems strange to me.

I know that 2 years of foreign language in high school fulfills the IGETC requirement...but should I take more at my community college? Will it increase my chances of getting into UCLA even though I'm applying for political science?

My junior class is supposesd to take the PSAT tomorrow, but one of my friends is calling in sick (as suggested by her counselor) because it tests Algebra II, which she hasn't been in yet. Therefore, she has a very little chance of qualifying for the scholarship thing. I'm in the same boat, should I go?

She has said she doesn't like this fabric I want for my room each time I show her. Seriously like ten time. I got her to compromise saying I will add modern touches and she let it go. Although today I was showing my grandma and my mom again said how she didn't like it. I snapped at her with a bit of attitude after hearing each time before. I mean...is it necessary to keep saying it when I've clearly gotten the message? Now she is mad and shutting off, leaving my grandma's house with an hour drive home. Oh did I mention she left me?
