Depression in relationships?
Me and my ex-boyfriends have been on and off for the last 3 months. He always used to mention his worries about me being depressed by I denied it. Finally, during one of our off stages, I have realised that I am actually depressed. I have begun a self - help and professional help course and I am getting back on track. However, I realise that as a result of my stubbornness, I have lost some of the people closest to me.
How can I explain to my partner that I am working towards getting better which will hopefully eliminate the problems we have faced which cause us to break-up. I am confident in myself, I just need to explain this to my partner and other family members who are reluctant to start a new relationship with me.
1 AnswerMental Health9 years agoWhat is he trying to do?!?
So me and my boyfriend broke up a month ago. A week ago we had a massive row when he told me he wanted nothing to do with me. So I break all contact with him. . We have had one massive row before so I know that if I go silent he will eventually make contact. After 5 days he finds me while I'm out clubbing, touches my waist, tells me I'm gorgeous and asks me out for coffee However, the next night he says he doesn't want coffee because he doesn't want to get back with me?
Please tell me is this him just trying to get me to chase him or is he trying to stop me moving on? I love this guy to pieces and would have him back. And how can I get him back?!!!
Thank you

Has anyone camped at the Fort Wilderness Resort in Disney World Orlando? If so, how much does it cost for two weeks and do you have to bring your own tent? Thanks.
2 AnswersOrlando10 years agoWhy don't students not go to uni if they are that against the rise in fees?
You only NEED a degree if you are being a Dr or engineer. Things like media studies and business can be learnt from experience and you can work your way up. Admittedly going to uni does speed your way up the ladder but again this is not a necessity. Anyone agree?Uni isn't for everyone - so why make it accessible for people who get 3 Ds at A Level who blatantly aren't suited to intense studying at a higher level.
6 AnswersTeaching1 decade agoWhy do people on benefits have pets?
I'm not happy with being taxed to pay for their life as it is, but I do not work my a*** off to pay for them to have luxuries like pets which aren't necessities! Anyone else agree.
7 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade agoAnyone feel that the raising of fees are reasonable?
Basically, because there's no money, people are gonna have to pay for the amount of resources they use. I think it is reasonable for unis to say this. After all there are only a few jobs which NEED degrees e.g. doctors and teachers but why should students get cheap uni fees for a degree they don't even need?! Like media degrees. I feel if you want it but don't need it you should pay for the resources you use, which in some unis will actually be £9000. Back me up guys!
And if these students are so worried about their education why are they bunking class. Just signs to be that they will bunk uni and waste taxpayers money. It's extremely selfish to demand the country's money to be spent on your wants, not even your needs! I know someone dying who could have benefited from the generous amount of money the government spends topping up students' contributions to uni fees. I'd much rather that money went to making his last moments of life more enjoyable than going for some student who fancies getting a degree even though they don't need it!
And before you ask, I will be affected by these fees too!
1 AnswerEconomics1 decade agoDoes anyone work at the underwear shop Triumph?
If so could you please tell me how much you get paid an hour (for over 18s and under 18s). Thanks in advance.
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories1 decade agoIs anyone else a soon to be student and not against the increase in fees?
Seriously I swear you have to be smart to get into uni? Of course it'd be nice to have fees lower but I understand that a higher education is expensive and the government cannot afford to pay £6000 a year for me and any other student. After all, there's nothing forcing me to go to uni and making me pay £9000 a year. I really want to go but can't afford it so I'll have to work more hours and get more loans/overdrafts. Why don't these students see that there is no the money to pay for them to go and even if if they could wouldn't you rather see the money spent on essentials e.g. medicine for the ill. Anyone else feel the same?

Where and how much and hour?! And I mean sales assistant not supervisor, senior sales assistant etc...

P.S I don't mean senior sales, supervisor etc. If so, where? Thanks
3 AnswersMarketing & Sales1 decade agoWhy do poorer students not have to pay back grants?
I understand that they should get help but why do they not have to pay back grants. If all university students are meant to be able to get good jobs, what's stopping them paying it back. I don't see why students who don't qualify for grants but families can't afford uni should be in more debt than any other student.

2 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoWhy is Oxbridge accused of being biased towards private school kids?
Actually over 50% of the student population is from a state school so isn't this an incorrect statement? Unis with a high percentage of state school students aren't accused of being biased towards state schools and would a uni which happened to have a large number of white students be criticised for being biased and racist. So why is it completely different the other way round?
I was intrigued when I saw this argument in the Daily Mail saying that Oxbridge should be more biased to state school students. It even went as far as saying the entry for state school students should be lower than the entry for private school students. Shouldn't uni be equal for all and take the students who get the best grades, despite their background?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoWhy isn't university the same price for all?
2 AnswersFinancial Aid1 decade agoWhy do people assume people who go to Oxford university buy their way in?
I don't get it. You can't buy your way into those universities, you need to work hard to get all As!
And yes most of them do come from private school but why does that mean they bought their way to the university place? Doesn't that just mean that they've worked hard and they happen to all come from private school?
5 AnswersOther - Education1 decade agoWhat benefits will i recieve to fund my university course?
I need to know where I can get the money from! I will being studying for 4 years as an undergraduate, I have no children dependent on me and I am not a carer. My household income is above the limit for any grants etc and I can't get a full loan because it is income assessed.
But that's the problem. My parents arenn't in a position to pay for it because of taxes and mortgage and even if they could, at 18 we are considered adults why should they pay? So how am I supposed to fund it!
I will being working too. About 10 hours a week as I can't really fit anymore hours in without putting my studies behind and I don't really want to do that otherwise it'll defeat the point of being there!
Also will I be able to get any entitlements from the government? Everyone else does and why am I being put at a disadvantage. I thought this country was promoting equality?
5 AnswersFinancial Aid1 decade agoWhy do students from 'better off' families have to pay more for university?
I'm in the middle of sorting out my finances for university and I've discovered that because my dad earns over a certain amount I'm entitled to no grant that don't need to be repaid when others from other families do. When I asked for further information I was told that I'm also not entitled to a full loan either because it is expected that my dad should pay for this.
I'm confused why this is the case so could someone explain why this is? Is anyone in the same position and how are you dealing with it. I'm scared I won't be able to pay for it by myself with little financial aid from the government. I think they're forgetting that my dad has half his income taken off him for tax and then has a mortgage and bills to pay for.I'd be grateful for just a full loan! Let alone thousands of pounds that don;t need to be paid like others. It's not my fault my dad works so hard. I feel discriminated against. You wouldn't charge someone extra for a meal out just because they earn more so why is this the case for uni?
Help me out guys! I don't know what to do and why this is?!
