  • Would you tell or keep the secret?

My 14 year old daughter has a friend, also 14, that has expressed to her that if she had

protection that she would have sex with her boyfriend. Her mother lets the girl "visit" at the

boys home and date. I know both of these children and their parents, should I break the confidence

between my daughter and her friend and tell the parents or keep this information private.

  • What would you do with your child?

My daughter is 18, she still lives in our home, she has a part-time job and a car.

When she is not working she is elsewhere, she stays the night where ever. I know she drinks, although I think she stays at someones house and does not drive when she is doing this. She is constantly running around. She comes home late on nights she has to work the next day, drops her stuff, showers, uses our washer and dryer, sometimes eats, watches TV and sleeps most of the day. She contributes nothing to the household, her room is a mess, (tornado comes to mind) and she has not cleaned her bathroom in over a month. We have asked her to pay rent, (100 a month)

she has told us she doesn't have the money, she owes for Sept., and she promises payment to be made, I have yet to see any payment. I have looked (with her permission) at her bank stmts. which show a lot of payments for fast food and gas and vehicle maintenance expenses. I have told her to take food from home for supper at work, but, we will see. What should I do, I have also told her to look for a better paying job. Should I let an adult continue to mooch? Any ideas would be appreciated!

  • People recovering from Eating Disorders?

How do you get over the lack of understanding and "comments" of your particular disease? Such as she looks anorexic, (this is a disease not a size) I ate too much maybe I need to stick my finger down my throat, etc...

As a recovering person with an E.D. I feel obligated to inform

people and share my experiences. Do you feel the same?

  • Should I let her go?

My daughter wants to stay with her dead-beat father this summer. He has not been around much in 15 years since she is 16 and he remarried he seems to show an interest now...

He owes me money for back support and med. bills, he was (is) and alcoholic, was physically and mentally abusive, has no good influences in anyone around him and doesn't support his other child either (has seen once in a year) I could keep going

but you get the picture. My husband has supported her in every way but... he had an internet affair and was planning on leaving us but we have stayed together (counsiling etc...) and she now has no respect for him and wants to live with her father. He (her father) has treated her a lot worse and lied to her etc...but she still thinks he is wonderful (because she has no discipline there, gets to run and do etc...) What would you do? I will answer any questions you may ask because I need a true answers and will benefit from any ideas you can provide!

  • Do you think I should go for more support!?

My ex pays 185.00 a month, has since divorce, I made more money at the time than him. Child is now 16 (girl). I get 42.72 a week, when he is not laid off. He owes me over 1500.00 in back support and medical bills. He had one other child who he has not seen in over a year who has special needs (who are taken care of solely by his mother) although she also gets support from him in the same manner, although no medical bill help!

What do you think i should do?
