Do Christians really "love" god or do they feel forced to, in order to prevent them from suffering from eternal hellfire? Why would a god that loves us unconditionally forcefully make us love him back and threaten us with eternal torture? That ain't love, that's abuse.

Is it real? Is it bogus?

I murdered innocent infants, sent plaques upon his own creations, tortured his own creations (Job), killed off the entire planet, and today he doesn't do diddly squat to help fix the problems in our world today. Why is god such a murderous, envious, malevolent, angry, vicious, jealous psychopath?

I have always argued this, that the WBC is the last remaining group of true Christians. And before you say, "no, they're not true Christians, true Christians don't act that way" then I would advise you to actually READ the Bible. They follow the Bible to a "T", they take each and every part of it seriously.

So if you actually read and believed the whole Bible, you would believe that "God hates fags" and that America is indeed a nation that is prone to destruction.

You may think this is crazy, but this is why I have respect for the WBC. They believe the whole entire Bible, and they are stern in their beliefs. They aren't the typical, hypocritical Christian that cherry picks from the Bible and takes only from the parts that they like.

So Christians, take note, and do what the WBC does and actually follow your Bible!

I'm a sophomore in college now, and I am looking back at my high school yearbook. I have always had friends in high school, and I was generally very well liked, but I have never really made an attempt to get to know all of my fellow classmates. I am feeling regret because there may have been some very interesting people whom I may have developed lasting friendships with. My cousin is in college now also but he has retained a lot of his high school friendships so he always has people to be with at home.

How do I deal with this feeling of regret, that I could have put myself out there more, and made more lasting friendships? In college, I am making sure to introduce myself to everybody and meet as many people as possible. Is it best to just learn from this and make sure that I am always putting my best foot forward?

a hug or a kiss? I am taking French this semester and I need some help with the cultural aspect of social interaction. I heard that hugging is mostly reserved for when two people are lovers, while kissing seems pretty normal among friends. Is this correct?

THEY that believe everything came from nothing? They believe that god just wished everything into existence, by magic! I'm referring to this quote below that someone left on one of my questions.

This happened to me on quite a few occasions. I will question something, and the Christian will just reply with something like "god is perfect."

and not reject everything that even slightly goes against their beliefs? I challenge them to think outside of their belief systems, and try to dissect the world in a non-biased, rational way.
