It's only 3 months old and done well in 98 degree days. The last few days it can't cool below 77. The days are humid and 93. The filter is clean.

My boss is a wood worker and made us pen and pencil set in different exotic woods.Mine is mahogany and looks like a wood version of a Cross pen. How do I treat the wood> Wax (what wax)? Oil (what oil)? Nothing?

On my drive to work in rural Iowa, I see plots of 20-40 acres of corn not harvested even though the rest of that same farmers' field are all harvested. Is this for the animals or what? Why are so many of the farmers leaving these plots?

I just watched "Our Town" and it made me think of another play with minimal props. Two fathers try to get their children to fall in love by planting a hedge between the houses. I believe the boy and girl find out it was a set up and go off into the world only to return later a little beaten down by the world.

I have a laptop provided by work. I spend 4 days a week on site and the evenings I have nothing to do. I'd like to play my favorite game CIV after supper. Since I do not want to install it on the work computer, can I install it on a USB flash drive (not a USB hard drive) and (with the disk in the CD drive) play the game? If so, what type of USB drive do I need? Anything special?

Someone said males have 'hot' urine. What is that and is it the cause?

Americans are living longer than ever, but not as long as people in 41 other countries.

For decades, the United States has been slipping in international rankings of life expectancy, as other countries improve health care, nutrition and lifestyles.

Countries that surpass the U.S. include Japan and most of Europe, as well as Jordan, Guam and the Cayman Islands.

"Something's wrong here when one of the richest countries in the world, the one that spends the most on health care, is not able to keep up with other countries," said Dr. Christopher Murray, head of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington.

With our ability to collect and tally votes (well, ecept for Florida), wouldn't a straight popular vote reflect the will of the people better?

I'm pretty adept at Civ III. In Civ IV, do the many available options for units and cities improve the game or does the complexity interfere with the fun?
