I discovered this band about five years ago, but I can't remember their name. Here's what I know about them: They were an electronic band in the late 60s/early 70s. They have songs called Machine and Comic Strip (I once saw "Machine" on Youtube with images from the movie "Metropolis" if that helps). They were supposed to be signed to a label by Chas Chandler at a club one night but he left early after hearing Jimi Hendrix - signing him instead. This is driving me crazy. I can't find anything on Google or Youtube. They seem to have dropped off the face of history! Please, let me know if you have an answer. Thank you.

I just signed up to be a bone marrow donor a couple of minutes ago. Now I'm terrified because I hate doctors, hospitals, and everything in between. I was wondering if anyone who has actually gotten a transplant can walk me through the process?

I randomly started thinking about two animes that I read about five years ago. I can't think of their names and it's getting on my nerves. The first one is called "Vampire (something)" The only thing I really remember about this one is that the main character is a girl and she has a body guard who basically raised her since she was a child and she is infatuated with him now that she's older. The other one is about a girl who goes to a forbidden room in a library and opens a book. She gets sucked inside the book....That's all I remember.

I know it's not much to go on, but if you could give me titles that may sound like the right one I would be very grateful!!!

I'm not a cyclists, but I've heard of people going on long bike trips and asking for donations. They usually have a specific charity where they are sending the donations. My question is: why? Isn't it just like saying, "I want to go on a bike trip but I don't have enough money. Will you pay for me?" Because if it was all about the charity, people could send the money on their own.

First let me say, I'm an aspie so I'm not trying to single you out or anything.

But just out of curiosity, how do you all show empathy? I know it's different for most of us. The only reason I ask is because people seem to think we don't empathize at all...which is bull****.

Where can I find the restored version of Metropolis with the CONTEMPORARY soundtrack. I've seen a couple versions on Amazon, but am unsure if they are contemporary or the classical score.
