Any advice for keeping wedding nerves in check please?
Hi all, I'm getting hitched in 3 weeks and I feel like a bag of nerves about the church service. I've just read one of the readings we're having and nearly burst into tears at work!!! Pathetic I know. Don't get me wrong, I really want to get married but I think the service is really going to move me and I'm going to lose it, which I obviously want to avoid! I've been online and there's just a load of breathing exercises which I won't remember on the day and to be honest, once I start crying, there's usually no stopping me :S I've never suffered from nerves before and it's stressing me out!!! Please help!

2 AnswersOther - France10 years agoI have 3 chickens and 2 of them have stopped laying, why?
I'm sure loads of people will be able to help me with this - at least i hope so!
I have 3 chickens which i bought at the same time from the same place 2 1/2 years ago. My light sussex (Florence) still lays every day but my bluebell (Dorothy) and my speckledy (Matilda) have completely stopped laying. All three seem healthy, they live in a huge Eglu Cube and free range in the garden every day. They stopped laying in June and Matilda has just had a moult but she's showing no signs of laying again. Do you think that's it for them or are they just having a rest? They're my wonderful pets so I'm not going to get rid of them, I'm just surprised by their short laying span - I did loads of research before getting them and unerstand they might live until their 10 years old!
Any advice would be appreciated!
5 AnswersBirds10 years agoI have an old glove puppet and want to find another one?
it has a registered design number and was bought in 1978. Does anyone know how I can go about finding another one or at least track down who made it? I know it was made by Beaver Toys in Wiltshire, UK.
Any help would be appreciated
2 AnswersToys10 years agoWhere can I find cheaper mailing options in the UK for a small business?
I work for a small company in the UK (20 employees) and we currently send everything via Royal Mail. However, we've starting sending out loads of mailshots and I've been asked to research some cost cutting methods. Where's the best place to buy a franking machine or do you know a reliable cheap mailshot company?
Thank you
1 AnswerSmall Business1 decade agoWhat to get a boy for his 5th birthday?
I'd like to spend about £100 on my nephews birthday and get him something special. His parents have no money and wouldn't dream of asking me for anything more than £20. Can anyone with kids give me some ideas please?
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler1 decade agoHow much can I order from China without being charged for delivery?
I'm about to order a handbag and two wallets online from China. I've used the company before and everything went very smoothly - however, I only ordered one wallet. The company use EMS and when the package goes through Customs in the UK, it's then taken over by Parcelforce. I don't want to get stung by having to pay extra import taxes etc - it is just luck what gets caught? Also, the delivery address is my work address - would someone turn up here?? :S
Any advice would be appreciated.

5 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade agoHow much sick leave can a full time employee take each year in the UK?
A colleague of mine has worked full time for the company for 5 years. This year (so far) she's taken 17.5 days sick (all odd days and no serious illness). There is nothing in our contracts about how much sick time we can take. Does anyone know how much we are entitled to on full pay?

I've got a brilliant idea for an online business and I've got a quote to have the website set up for £10,000. Can anyone tell me where I go from here? I have a limited budget but i can get free printing. I'm a 32 year old female, I work full time and want to work for myself. I need to know how to generate online traffic and get press mentions. At the moment my savings will pay for the website set up. Any help would be most appreciated.
7 AnswersSmall Business1 decade agoMy chickens are laying soft shelled eggs :(?
I have 3 chickens and I get about 2 eggs a day but recently i've had some really brittle shells which just crumble when you pick them up. It's been going on for about 3 weeks. My girls have an excellent diet of mash/pellets/corn and left overs adnd on top of that they have a handful of oyster grit every day. They have access to fresh water and I've even attempted to give them limestone flour in their food whch they refuse to touch! I've given them cod liver oil in the winter and last week i tried a chicken tonic in their water which they wouldn't drink! I've tried everything! Please help! :(
They go free range every night for at least 2 hours and seem happy enough with red combs etc.
11 AnswersBirds1 decade agoWhat's the best thing for the floor of a chicken run?
I have an Eglu cube with 2m extension run and 3 chickens. I've had it for a year and in that time I've moved the run every day - the garden is 1/4 ace, all grass. Our whole back garden is now a chicken poo mud bath and there's no where to move the run where there's grass :( I'm now thinking of not moving the run at all, parking it and putting something down but I've got no idea what :( Wood chips, stone, paving stones, gravel, straw... Any help would be most appreciated. My chickens love to dig but I'm worried that i won't be able to wash the poo away if i get wood chip. I can't let the chickens go free range as we live next to jack russells ... Please help...

1 AnswerOther - Electronics1 decade agoInvoluntary Twitch :(?
I am a 31 year old female with no medical problems. In the last 3 weeks i've had an involuntary twitch in one of my fingers on my right hand. I know it sounds weird and it's no big deal but it's doing it more and more and it's really annoying me. It seems to do with all the time.
Any ideas what this is and how to stop it?
I have a really good diet and life style and don't want to waste the doctors time.

7 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoHow do you get rid of tics on a long haired cat?
My cat Rufus is covered in tics because he spends all day hunting in long glass and snoozing in fields at the back of our house. I've been using Frontline tic & flea treatment but it's not working :( I've also got a little tic remover from the vet but it's tricky when Rufy's fur is so long. The tics are mostly near his ears and neck but they're hard to see.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
