Anyone can answer of course but I want the opinion of Jehovah's Witnesses.

I live in Australia , North Queensland . I was born in Laos , raised as a Catholic in Australia but have become a Jehovah's Witness.

Lately it has entered my mind , to try to return to Laos to help preach the good news of Gods Kingdom , to serve where the need is great .I have worked hard & saved my money .

I would like to hear from fellow Jehovah's Witnesses that have made the effort to serve where the need is great , what advice could you give me ?

I have not spoken about this with the elders or anyone yet but it is a burning desire .

What did Jesus teach about pray ?

What does the bible teach ?

There are so many religions that call themselves Christians , is joining one of them enough to be called a Christian ?

It must be something different to God other wise it would be God speaking throught you or at least God the Holy Spirit speaking (which is not what the scripture states)

Matthew 10:20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

I have had a hard life in Australia , I have been called Zipper head , slope , slant eye , rice bubble ,Yellow & many other names . Lone Dissenter was Greek & him & I had many talks with each other about this , he understood my problems & was a great help to me .

Why is it that I only feel excepted as an equal when I am with Jehovah's Witnesses ?

Why did I never feel really accepted by my former religious congregation ?

Things are better for Asians in Australia now , they seem to accept us , now they hate people from Arab countries .

Does any one know how Lone Dissenter is , can anyone let me know or at least pass on my love ?

Would it be different to all other religions ?

Who chooses what the followers of any religion is to believe ?

JESUS made it clear that some forms of worship are not acceptable to God. He spoke of “false prophets,” comparing them to a tree that produces worthless fruit and “gets cut down and thrown into the fire.” He also said: “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens.”—Matthew 7:15-22.

Jesus said

“Everyone that is on the side of the truth listens to my voice.” Pilate may well have been responding cynically when he said: “What is truth?” (John 18:37, 38)

“For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth.”—John 18:37.

“I am the way and the truth and the life.”—John 14:6.

“God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”—John 4:23, 24.

“If you remain in my word, you are really my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”—John 8:31, 32.

Given the sheer multitude of religious beliefs worldwide, the reason that anyone who claims to have a monopoly on truth must be narrow-minded, even arrogant. Surely, it would seem, some good is to be found in all religions or at least most of them.

Does some good make them right ?

I was baptized in August this year.

I would like to ask you when you first realized the Jehovah's Witnesses had the truth was it sudden like it slapped you in the face or was it a slow & gradual realization ?

For myself I felt my religion (Catholic) was wrong but I had some contact with JW's as a child & something always told me the Jehovah's Witnesses had the truth .

I have paid a high price for my faith but I would pay it many times over gladly for the peace , love & comfort I have found in Jehovah.

I am not on much but I received an email from someone claiming to be a Jehovah's Witness a few months ago , running me down because of my avatar .

Can you please explain what is wrong with it because I do not understand .

I have faced many problems to get where I am now & I have no intentions of turning back but sometimes I feel lonely & down & my family work on that , can you share some encouraging scriptures experiences with me ?

Both believe in Jesus & both follow his teachings in different ways but many Christians say they both are not Christian but does the bible say you do not have the right to judge ?

Ro 14:4

4 Who are you to judge the house servant of another? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for Jehovah can make him stand.

You can believe them or not but how do you have the right to judge them?

I am studying , I was wondering should I study it on my own or ask the person studying with me to go through it with me .
