I have a couple of scars on my arms and hand that I got in a long boarding accident a few months ago, the injuries have healed but left small scars. I'm just wondering if I should start to use Mederma (or a similar product) son, or if it's okay for me to wait to see if they get better looking over time (They're not terribly noticeable, but I don't think I want it there forever). My band is think about releasing an album and we're not sure what should be on the cover? I'd like for both members of the band to be on it, as we're pretty image-oriented. I have 1 condenser mic that I want to use as an overhead, and I also have 4 dynamic mics made for drums (1 bass drum, 1 snare, and 2 tom mics). Where do you suggest I I position my overhead mic to get the best sound?

I just bought a Korg NanoKontrol to use with my MacbookPro (2010 model) and it's not recognized by my computer at all, but the lights light up when I hit buttons, and the scens can change and everything. I want to get it to work mainly with Ableton Live, but also with Pro Tools and maybe GarageBand. Oh, and I also have the drivers and "KontrolEditor" from Korg. Thanks!

Which microphone has better quality or are they equal? I was thinking the MXL because it is $30 cheaper, comes with a shock mount, and a free boom mic stand. But I've heard very good things about Audio Tehcnica mics (this one in particular). I plan on using it for various things from singing, rapping, screaming, micing a drum set, or a guitar amp, etc. I really need an opinion because I have no idea? Thank you!

I Have the 2010 unibody MacBook Pro with 4GB of ram and I wanted to run the Sims 3 on it. I know my compter will exceed the requirements, but I've heard a lot of rumors that the Sims games slow down the computer they are installed on even when not playing, and also that it somehow slows down your internet? I just want to know if it really will slow down my computer, thanks!

I'm buying a condenser microphone (XLR) ton record vocals and I want to connect it to my computer, it would also be nice to connect my guitar directly up to it and use Garage Band's virtual amps. I think this is called a pre amp but I havnt really seen one that connects both guitar and XLR to the computer, but usually both to another output. What should do? Thank you!

I want to have a dock connected to my 2 external monitors (from my last PC), so when I insert the Macbook Pro in the dock, It automatically connects to the 2 monitors.

Oh, and Im going to probably be using a Henge Dock, which is one that has the laptop closed when you put it in, so I can't use the built in monitor.

K my friend got a new netbook with a built in camera for he bday and sh wants to talk to me while I'm in my room, but more specifically videochat, i have an iPod touch with microphone, a ps3 with ps3 eye and headset and an xbox 360 with vision, live, and a headset. I've tried skype but it doesn't work well for some reason on my iPod and we would really prefer to video chat, so can you please help me? Thanks!

I've been taking guitar lessons for about a year and half now, and I've been taking drum lessons for a month now, and I think I want to start playing bass guitar too, I don't think I'd take lessons, but more teach myself mostly. I was thinking about buying a bass and bass amp at a pawn shop, or eBay maybe, because this is more of a side thing, where guitar and drums are what I really want to focus on, I only have about $150, so do you think I should? My parents bought a Vista computer that had a free upgrade to windows and it's coming in the mail now. I have a Windows XP computer and I want to upgrade mine, because they don't really want to upgrade. My question is will I be able to partition my hard drive or completely wipe my hard drive and clean install it that way, but will I be able to do it with the Vista upgrade disk? thank you.

Last year I became good friends with this girl, and I would text her, and over the summer I started texting her alot. Recently my dad took my phone away because I got in trouble and he "claims he didn't read any of my texts", but we didn't talk about anything bad really. So the he says I can have my phone back but I can't text her anymoe, I can still be her friend an talk to her in school, just not text and I asked why and he said "because she's not the type of person I should be hanging out with" and I said what? And he said "she should be txting her boyfriend not you!" (I had told him about her boyfriend because he thought we were going out a week or two ago). But her boyfriend can only text during emergencies I said and he said ohhhh! And left!!!!! The next dat I asked him why again and he said becaus I txt her 24/7, and I though "that's why she's not the type of person I should be hanging out with"??? But didn't say it. Oh and I'm a 13 year old guy and she's 13 too,

why would he do that? Does he think I like her and doesn't want me going out with her (I've had a girlfriend before but he knew her), does he think Shes going to cheat inherent boyfriend for me (he knows her boyfriend, we've been friends since elementary school). I have a starcaster now and I was told I couldn't play in dropped tuning because it would warp the neck, so I am looking at a BC rich warlock, will I be able to keep that in a dropped tuning (dropped enough for slipknot, disturbed, slayer, etc), and not have to drop it ever time I play? Also I don't want your opinions on the Warlock, Im just getting that out of the way now. Thanks!

I've been playing guitar on my cheap fender starcaster for a year now, and I think I want to upgrade to a better guitar. I'm thinking I want the Warlock, because I really like metal (Slipknot, Korn, Disturbed, Slayer, The Haunted, etc.) music, and I just can't play them on my starcaster, because can't tune it low enough and keep it. If I tune my BC rich to a dropped B tuning (or whatever most metal is played, I believe it is dropped B), will it warp the neck? also, it is a platinum that I'm looking at, but I might get another type of warlock. So what do you think, should I get it? Thanks!
