That there would be things lost in mistranslation when people interpreted the bible?

Matthew 5:17-20

"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. Doesn't that mean that the old testament rules are still in effect?

I've been here a while and I've started to see a pattern so tell me if I got this.

1)When faced with the fact that God has genocidal tendencies in the old testament just say things were either A. different back then B. all part of god's plan or C. use Pascal's Wager

2)When verses like He hangs the earth upon nothing (Job 26:7) say things like the bible knew about earth revolving around the sun but when given verses like

He shakes the earth from its place and makes its pillars tremble. (From the NIV Bible, Job 9:6)

say either A. He was speaking metaphorically B. you're taking things out of context or C. use pascal's wager

3) Use the bible when discouraging homosexuality but when it comes to tattoos (Leviticus 19:28), divorce (Mark 10:9), wearing gold (1 Timothy 2:9), or eating shellfish (Leviticus 11:10) say that either A. the laws change so god is totally cool with that now B. you're taking things out of context or C. use pascal's wager

4)When saying how barberic God's system is of sacrificing his son and he could have forgiven people without the need for anyone to die say

A. It's part of God's perfect plan even though his plan involves people dying, starving children etc. B. We cannot know the mind of God even though his plans involve genocide etc. or C. well you pretty much get the idea

You don't see everything falling randomly do you? Doesn't it make since if everything falls straight down because GOD doesn't want us to fall up?

Anything god is justified so its ok to kill babies and cause genocide because he's god and it's not the same because we have the new testament and that means he changed his mind but that means that it doesn't apply so no quoty the old testamenty.

Lets say I build a robot called Mr. Roboto, and he is designed to be the greatest robot ever and do everything i say. Due to a computing error Mr. Roboto destroys everything that he doesn't like except me.

I could easily reprogram the robot with a code that only I know, but I wanted the robot to have free will.

Now instead of just reprogramming the robot, lets say I build another robot called Savior 2.0 and he protects you from Mr. Roboto. The only way he will save you is if you build a place where you worship me for saving you from Mr. Roboto and you accept Savior 2.0 as your savior.

Would you think of me as a pinnacle of love for making Savior 2.0 or an asshole for making Mr. Roboto in the first place?
